L x depressed! reader. part 1

It was a cold and rainy afternoon. You were sitting in your chair, working on the kira case. On the other side of the room sat L, also working... well mostly staring at the screen, watching Light and Misa on surveillance cameras, but it was still something, right? You felt like this case was going nowhere and just staring at screens and going through files was already getting boring pretty fast. Not to mention you were quite depressed and lost all emotions since the incident with your.. Err father...You slowly stood up, turned around and went to get your jacket. L turned around facing you and asked curiously " where are you going Y/N? " you zipped your jacket, plugging your earphones to your phone and then turning to L saying " on a walk... " in a monotonous voice. It looked like L wanted to say something more but you ignored it and walked out the headquarters. As you walked out, it started to rain extremely heavily. You sighed and kept going. Your head was completely clear, you didn't even know where you were going... you just wanted to get away for a while... As you were deep in thought you heard thunder and quickly snapped out of it. You stopped and looked up to the sky... wanting to die so badly...but you didn't want to leave L... he seemed like he cared... but you weren't completely sure...he was like... the friend you never had...Then you heard car beeping at you to get out of the way. Realising you were standing in the middle of the road made you run to the nearest forest, which was pretty close and suddenly tripping over and falling onto the ground getting your clothes even more dirty. You didn't want to get up but you had to or else someone would take you to their home and possibly harm you physically. You stood up but fell right over realising you have hurt your leg... " dammit.." You mumbled. The hurt leg didn't stop you though... You got up ignoring the pain and trying not to limp. You got the hang of it while walking back to the headquarters but the leg still hurt and actually... the pain distracted you in a good way... and you felt good... You walked in the room where you and L were always working and saw Light handcuffed to L. " well what a surprise " you mumbled. Unfortunately, L heard it and turned around to explain lifting up his finger, when you interupted him " yeah I know... you just want to keep him on surveillance yeah, yeah, blah, blah ". L lowered his finger and looked at you for a moment, then turned around to face the screen again. After awhile you felt something run down your leg and exused yourself to the bathroom. You lifted up your black tights to find blood running down your leg from a small gash. You grabbed a cloth not noticing you took L's towel and starting pressing it down on your gash. The pain was horrible and you grunted... a bit too loud... You turned around quickly, when you heard L's worried voice say " Y/N, are you ok in there?... " You then shouted " I'm fine, don't worry! "..." pftt..like he is going to worry about me.. " you mumbled to yourself... You sat in complete silence, when suddenly you burst into tears... trying hard not to catch L's attention again... The crying continued for a minute when you suddenly stopped... you slowly look up in the mirror... " I was crying... " you said to yourself... " I was... crying!! " your mouth formed a smirk...
