L x Depressed! reader. part 4

You didn't even close your eyes last night, because you were thinking deeply the whole night. L knocked on your door causing you to jump and fall to the floor. You didn't expect him at all to come to your room. He walked in, when he heard someone falling on the floor only to see you rubbing your head in pain. He then jokingly said " I must be very good looking or something if you keep fainting everytime you see me " You punch his chest " I'm not fainting it's just that you startled me, I didn't expect you to come... " you said in a monotonous voice forcing out a half smile. He smiles and helps you up taking out the other side of the handcuff which was yours and put in on your wrist. Your half smile turned into a * really-dude?... * face " Cool a friendship bracelet, we'll be together forever yeyyy " you said sarcastically. " forever you say? as you wish " L says with a * problem?:DDD * face as he drags you down to his office and gives you files to go through once again. Sometimes or often L would do something that pulled you hand and you would clench you teeth together in pain. What he didn't suspect was that he put the handcuff on the hand Y/N was harming last night. You went with it though trying hard to not make L notice your misery. Your arm was bruised and cut pretty bad and even a slightest tug on it would make you want to die. You kind of regretted cutting yourself but it was for the best. Suddenly L stood up tugging your arm extremely hard because of the quick way he stood up from his chair. You suddenly couldn't hold it and screamed in pain and agony. Your loud scream immediately caught L-kun's attention and he ran to you, as you curled yourself into a ball and clenched your teeth together very hard. He was worried for you... For a second he thought this was Kira's job but as he still saw Y/N-san's body shake and still show signs of life... he was relieved. He yelled for Watari to go get the first-aid kit fast while he was trying to calm you down. You knew he was going to check you out to see what was wrong, so you tried to hold in the pain no matter how agonising it felt and get away from him... You tried to stand up playing it cool when L would touch your arm watching as you back away from him closing your eyes completely shut in pain while still clenching you teeth. He tilted his head " Y/N is there something wrong with your arm?... " he asked curiously? You looked up forcing out a fake soft smile letting go off the arm and relaxing even though you were in extreme pain. " I'm fine L, you just tugged me too hard that's all... " you said, smiling to him softly. You were trying very hard to make that soft smile of yours look real and you kinda succeded... " But i saw you were in agonising pain... It is impossible to be in so much pain just from a hard tug... This could mean you have either done something to your arm... and leg probably.. or you have hurt it... tell me it's fine, you can tell me anything ".  He smiled slightly putting his hand on your shoulder. You stood up looking at him and tried walking away without limping or anything like that to prevent L to  come after you again. He looked at you as you  walked out meeting Watari with the first-aid kit in his hands, his face all red due to the rush of finding it. You thanked him and took the kit with you... You felt bad for the old man using his energy and time to find something useless to make you feel better. You walked up the stairs barely limping and hugging the kit... You weren't sure what you were going to do with it but got the idea of looking for some pain killers in it. You sat in your room digging through the kit and finally you found one... Holding it up to your eyes you said " Bingo... " The pill travelled down your throat and into your system as it was flushed with water. You plopped on your bed, waiting for the pain killers to take effect. A few minutes later you heard the door open up and in came L, still with his worried face. " Please tell me what is going on with you... It's hard focusing on work when I keep worrying about you.. Just tell me what is wrong and I will leave you alone " You looked at him with your E/C eyes for a moment and the muttered " fine... ".
