Love Hurts

Love

We need it

We can't live without it

Apart of daily life

Hurts

When it leaves

Whether it be through death or voluntarily

But it it never does really leave us

Leaves scars on my heart

I've tried to stitch it up as best as I could

Every single time

It takes part of my heart

I know I shouldn't

Let it back in

But

It's worth it to feel our love

For a whole then a broken heart

Having the cycle begin again

Than to never feel love again

Every time I hear your voice

Say the forbidden words

My heart feels whole

As though its never been damaged

As though I have no scars

My heart is pure

You make me feel loved

Even if its just for a while
