When I left the Middle School, I went over to Riley's house to talk to Topanga because I knew that she would be able to help me and listen to what I have to say without judging me. When I knocked on the door she seemed surprised.
"Hey Kiley, shouldn't you be at school, right now?" She asked curiously.
"Well, school today didn't really go as planned..." I whispered as she told me to sit at the table and started making us hot chocolate.
"Well, let's talk about it." She suggested.
"I don't know where to start, it's so confusing." I mumbled.
"The beginning is always a good place to start." She told me handing me a cup of hot chocolate with little marshmallows like she used to when I was young and couldn't sleep because Dad was at work. I took a sip before beginning.
"So a month ago I started to have these weird feelings for Josh that weren't best friend feelings..." I started slowly before continuing. "And we started practicing for the concert next week and We kind of had these moments, I guess you would call them, and then he almost kissed me--"
"You almost kissed?"
I nodded. "We probably would have kissed but Maya and Riley came in. And after that, he started getting really close to one of my friends Taylor and so Alan, you've met him, he's Josh and mine's best friends, asked him if he liked Taylor and he said that he didn't. Alan said that he liked somebody else. But today at school they were kissing in the hallway... and then I kind of flipped out in history class when Alan, Josh, Taylor and I were put in a group. And then I left and went to the Middle School, where Uncle Corey was talking about people telling people the truth even when it's hard. I think that Uncle Corey and Farkle are trying to get Riley to tell Lucas that she still loves him even though he's dating Maya. And then I realized that I need to tell Josh that I like him but I don't know how to tell him." I told her before going on to say. "But what if I tell him and he doesn't like me, what if he likes Taylor? What if me telling him that I like him ruins our friendship forever? What if everything goes wrong?"
"Well, I think that you should definitely tell Josh about your feelings. People liked to be told about if other people feel affection for them." She told me smiling slightly at me. "I know that it's scary to tell him because of your nerves, but if you don't tell him, you'll never know if he likes you the way you like him. Telling him is the right thing to do."
"How do I tell him? I'm not good with my feelings and saying them... It doesn't work..." I asked.
"Why don't you do what you do best? Tell him through a song." She suggested. Now that was a good idea.
"Thanks, Topanga. You helped a lot." I hugged her tightly.
"Anytime. You know I'm always here." She told me. "Now, why don't we watch some sappy love movies until the kids get done with school and then we talk Corey and your dad into getting us tacos from that taco place you like." She suggested.
"I like that idea." I told her smiling getting two blankets from the couch and throwing one at her before curling into mine. I laughed as it hit her in the head. She glared at me and I smiled.
"Which movies? I've got The Notebook, Dear John, The Longest Ride, A Walk to Remember, The Fault in Our Stars, and The Lucky One."
"Let's watch Dear John."
"Sounds good. I'll go get the ice cream and popcorn."
While we were watching the movies, I got a message from Dad.
Are you ok?

yes you can, but i'm glad your ok. Topanga texted and said that Corey and I were suppose to stop at that taco place you like and get dinner and we'll eat there. I'll get you that guacamole stuff you like too.

then why were they kissing
idk, he said that she kissed him because she's trying 2 make will jealous n apparently it worked cuz there back 2gether now
that doesn't make me feel better, i'm still mad at taylor for kissing him cuz she knows that i like him
i told her that and she seemed sad but that she understand where ur coming from
did josh say anything else

When Josh, Riley, and Maya came home from school Topanga and I were crying because it was the end of the movie.
"Why are you guys crying?" Josh asked glancing from the TV and back to us.
"They get back together..." I cried.
"I didn't think they would." Topanga cried.
"Me either."
"Oh my god. Nicholas Sparks. I didn't believe Al when he said that's what you were watching."
"Shut up!" I giggled throwing my ice cream at him.
"Ooo! Double chocolate fudge!" He grinned before sitting between me and Topanga eating my ice cream.
Topanga got up and changed the movie to the Notebook. At the end we were both crying again. "Oh come here." Josh said opening his arms for me to crawl into. He was so warm and perfect. This was the best part of my day sitting here as Josh held me.
