Its the day of the dance. and its November 22. Travis and Trina have been broken up for a week now. So i think it would be alright for me and Travis to date now. He doesnt have a date for the Semi formal but he's going to the dance. So who knows what will happen. I'm getting ready for semi formal dance. I got my hair all culry up and i had my make up on. and now im all ready for the semi formal dance. See im going with a group of friends all my grade 9 friends. Like Kristal, Haley, Lizzy, Jake, Ashley, Rebecca, Chris and Ashley's boyfriend. Me and Kristal, Haley didnt have a date so we agree to stay together.
They made this whole dinner thing up for all of us. We picked a table and we all sat down. and waited till they called our table to get our food. I seen Travis he's sitting with Spencer and Heidi and Josh and Cassy, and Haley's brother still dont know his name either and its already been 3 months since school started thats bad. They called out table. So we all got up and went to go get our food. The food doesnt look so good, So i didnt eat i just grabbed a cookie and a drink. Finally they started playing music and everyone was dancing. first it was a fast song then they put on a slow song. i didnt have anyone to dance with. so this was kinda awkward. I looked over and i nottice Travis and Trina dancing together. My heart like dropped at that very moment. Maybe i was stupid to think he will date me. Honesly he still likes Trina. Im just going to give up on him for good then.
Finally the slow song ended and they started playing a fast song. i finally gotten my mind off of Travis. me and my friends we all having a good time we all took some pictures in the girls bathroom. and danced to a couple of songs till another slow song came on. It was my favorite song to. Its called Amazed. Kristal walk up to me. ''heey bestie wanna dance''. we both started laughing so i thouhg hey its a dance i gotta have fun some how right. So we started dancing together as a joke untill. ''Hey do one of you want to dance with me???''. It was Travis. I thought this is my chance to dance with the boy that i like. But wait what about Trina i thought they were dating. ''I want to dance''. Kristal said. I looked at Travis and said. ''No i want to dance with you''. Me and Kristal were fighting over him. it was kinda funny though but i wasnt going to let anything or anyone get in the way so i didnt care. ''k kristal you can dance with me next i want to dance with Chelsea first''. what did he just really say that. did he just say he wanted to dance with me first. Oh my god my dream is coming true. This is amazing.
We started to slow dance with each other. It was kinda awkward at first. We didnt say anything to each other untill Chris and Rebecca walked up to us. ''awwww look at the cute love berts''. Chris said. ''we're not dating''. My heart dropped once again when he said that because i though maybe he will go out with me but till this happen. ''why not??? you guys look so cute together you guys should go out''. i kept thinking keep talking Chris i like where this is going. ''i dont know bro she has a boyfriend''. i looked up really fast and with a smile on my face. ''no i dont''. I said. ''oh you dont i tough you did''. Maybe thats why he never asked me out at all. ';so do you like her Travis???'', ''Of course i do but its up to her if she wants to go out''. I looked up with a huge smile on my face saying i would love to be you girlfriend. and then Chris started again. ''awwww i did that amazing work you guys are so cute together''. I though yeah he did. This just made my whole night so much better.
