My legs moves back in forth in a face pace, running faster than I have ever done before. The light that shined across the walls and sprawled along the tiled floor guided me forward. Even when I tripped, and stumbled, I quickly went back up as fast as I could."Minnian!" I heard Lilly yell as she dragged behind with the others. I stopped to a jogging pace, then a complete halt as I tried to re catch my breathe while watching them catch up to me.
She huff'ed and puffed as she dragged Odin across the floors. "You're going way too fast."
I squinted my face and placed my hand on my hips, "Maybe you are going to slow."
"What's the rush kiddo." Odin breathed.
I stared at him for a bit before sighing, "We are now responsible for our world Odin. Aren't you at the least bit rushed, or panicked."
"Of course I am princess but we need to take this slowly." He sighed while he grunted and grabbed his shoulder as it burned with pain. I can't believe I have been ignoring his pain this whole time. First ting is first, Odin must get to safety. I looked at Odin with a sadden look before slowly walking up to the two. Odin and Lilly gave a confused look as I grabbed Odin's other arm and drapped it around my shoulder. The heat radiated off his body and he grunted again as I shifted his placement. Lilly gratefully smiled at me and nodded as a single to keep walking.
"Let's go." Kentori said monotonly as she started to jog ahead of us at a steady pace.
"It won't be long Odin." Lilly said in a motherly way as she used her strength to pull off a smile.
"Don't lie to me kid. I know what is ahead." He groaned.
I sighed as I started to walk faster, and faster, until Lily and I were dragging Odin across the floors with Kentori leading the way. My heart fluttered in a fast pace and I couldn't help but smile. Repeating the words that Ivy used, 'There's so much power within you two that you don't know.' I loved the way it sounded, the way it gave me hope and power. I grinned while Lilly looked at me with a pleased look.
The light got closer and closer, until it rewarded us with it's rays of warm sun light. Lilly, Odin, Kentori and I all squinted our eyes as we exited the god's room to enter the kingdom of the Between. The light blinded us for a second before we adjusted to the view.
The fields of grass outlined all the hills and valleys, rivers and runs. With the trees standing tall and proud as they watched over the working villagers who planted seedlings around the bountiful river. They wore tan aprons over their dirtied dresses and pants as they gently touched the petals of a Draina flower that was brought over from the safe haven. Once the worker spreaded fertilizers over the plants, their bright pink flowers instantly sprang to life as they opened from a bud to a beautiful flower.
The rivers were filled with glistening, clean water as it's surface was continuously broken by the leaping fish that inhabited it. The scales even from afar were reflecting and shining a bright light as children laughed while pointing to them. We gasped in our still states as we felt the nice sun mixed with the strong dominant winds that blew on with soaring birds unfamiliar to me that were brought over from the human realm.
