The walls held onto the wooden doors that were already swung open. The walls stretched long and far as the eye can see, drapped and proudly held their aged tapestries of stories of what is and what is to come.

My first footsteps inside echoed threw out the castle. Which was only minuscule compared to the roaring of the wind that entered the halls. The widespread room was floored with cool stone and a red royal carpet was laid apon it. Odin moaned as we dragged on. His feet dragging behind and his raggedy clothes soaked in his own liquid. I know we have to hurry. A wound like this will get easily infected if left unattended.

The many guards that were covered in silver quickly got panicked at the look of us entering through. They ran, clattering their armor as they held out their spears towards us. Soon, they created a large semi circle in front of us as they brandished their weapons outward in a wide stance, blocking our path.

Kentori, Odin, Lilly, and I all slowed to a stop as the crowd behind us followed in. The room was dead silent. And all I did was stare at the guards with a plain look. If I listened closely, I could hear the men breathe loudly through their armor. And if I held still, I could see their chests slowly raise and fall like a soothing beat. Some breathed quicker than the others, showing that they held little fear from our presence.

But one man stood out from the rest. He carried himself in a more powerful way as he marched to the center of the semicircle. In front of the barrier of guards. I assumed he was their leader. His armor was heavier, and bulkier. The bright red and yellow paint was clearly chipping off and revealed the cold metal interior. The man faced us with a cold stare. Easily making me fill with chills and fear, and his two handed sword hung dangerously in his hands. He was ready to attack us when ever he felt suit.

"State your name and purpose." The voice boomed," Choose your words wisely," He spoke loudly and clutched his sword tighter and narrowed his brown eyes, "Your lives depend on it."

I gulped out of nervousness and bottom lip quivered, "We just need to speak to the Royal Highnesses...Sir." My voice came quieter than expected.

"You think that we would let people like you just enter into our castle?" He joked, looking and smiling at the men behind him. His smile quickly faded," Do you think I would let people suspicious as you talk to our king and queen?! With blood literally on your hands!"

Lilly glared harshly at the General, "We have personal business with them. Let us through."

"As I said before, choose your words wisely!" He shouted, " You're on thin ice here!"

Odin's head slowly lifted, one eyed shut. "Look here," He growled weakly. "We mean no harm, and clearly we need help." He then changed his dirtied face to a wild snarl. "So can you please move the hell out of our way."

The general took a quick step forward as he unsheathed his sword. The long piece of metal gleamed in the remainder of the sun's light. He seared and flashed off his teeth as he lowly growled like a mangy ill'ed mutt. My heart beated fast and my eyes widen as I watched him take a step back and then jolted froward to quickly run towards us with a war cry. I closed my eyes with a wince, and held my breathe to wait for the sword to land on the all of us. I waited for my death.

But then...Something happened. More like, something did't happen...

All I heard was a cling. Nothing more, nothing less.

"What." The General's voice breathe as he shook with anger. I then hesitently opened my eyes once more to observe the scene in front of me. A deer stood proudly in front of us as it used it's small horns to stop the sword. Said sword was currently stuck in the doe's bone marrow as a defense mechanism. The General tried prying the sword from the stuck position. All he got was stiff movements.
