Michael

Morning came too quickly, and I had to wake Luke. I always hated waking him up. Dreaming is his only escape, but it always had to come to an end.

He hummed as he woke up, and looked up at me. His face dropped a little when I picked the ropes up off of the ground. He shook his head quickly and moved off of my lap.

"Luke, you know we'll get in trouble if I don't." I told him, and he pointed to a cut and burn on his wrists that the tight ropes caused. I leaned down, and picked up his arm, kissing his wrist gently.

"I'll just tie them above it, okay? I don't want you to be hurt." I whispered, and he nodded.

I tied his arms together, and backed away a little. It was perfect timing because the door had just opened then.

He threw in a McDonald's bag, and started to leave, but stopped before the door shut all the way. "We're leaving for the day, but there's a guy downstairs ready to shoot you if you try to leave." He said, and shut the door, locking it.

I moved closer to Luke, and pulled him on my lap.

"I'm gonna keep the ropes on for a little longer until I'm sure they've left." I said and he nodded.

I opened the McDonald's bag, and it was just filled with fries. There were probably enough for 5 people which was good because Luke hasn't eaten in a whole day.

I heard a door shut downstairs, so I untied his hands.

I told him about another band I like as we ate the fries. I noticed he wasn't eating much at all. If I wasn't fed for a whole day I'd be scarfing food down. Eventually he just stopped eating all together.

"Luke, you need to eat. I know it hurts, and it's hard to eat a lot, but it'll start to get better." I said, and he nodded, slowly eating a few more.

We got through them all together, and he stood up, walking over to me. He grabbed my hand, so I stood up too.

He led me over to the torn up mattress we shared with a single blanket they put in this morning. I laid down, and he laid beside me, and tucked his head in my neck.

I knew he didn't feel good because of all he ate, so I held him close, putting pressure on his stomach to ease the aching. He leaned up, and kissed my jaw after he let out a sigh of relief.

The skin that his lips touched tingled a bit. It felt amazing.

I've never kissed Luke on the lips before, and right now I want to so bad, but I know he isn't feeling good. I just never know if it's some thing he wants as much as I do. He never talks, and that's something I don't want to guess on. I just wish he'd tell me.

My free hand ran through his hair as I let him drift off to sleep.

For the three hours he slept, I could tell he was peaceful.
