It was already dark and I was beyond exhausted. The whole day, Vincent kept telling us facts about camping and other boring things.
We were finishing up dinner by the fire, and Vivian noticed me yawn.
"I think it's time to get some shut eye", she said. Everyone silently agreed and we all went to our respective tents.
I shuffled into my sleeping bag and scooted away from Vic, who rolled his eyes at my antics.
Mike turned off the lantern thingy, plunging us into a blanket of darkness.
I sighed to myself and closed my eyes.
One day down, one to go.

I woke up to a weird feeling. I felt weighed down. I opened my eyes to see it was still pretty dark.
Maybe around 5 in the morning.
I froze when I felt someone's breath against my neck.
My eyes adjusted to the darkness and I noticed Vic had his arm around my stomach, and his head was nuzzled in the crook of my neck.
"Get off of me!", I said, violently pushing him away, disgusted. He didn't budge, but did wake up.
"Shut up Kellin", he mumbled sleepily.
"Vic! Get the hell off of me", I growled through gritted teeth.
Vic's eyes shot open and as soon as he noticed the position we were in, he practically jumped away from me.
"Creep", I muttered. He rolled his eyes and cursed at me before turning his back to me.
I glared at his back and faced away from him, falling asleep once again.

Later that day we were all sitting and talking. I was sitting by Mike. We were across from Vic and his parents."What time are we leaving?", I asked.
"Around five. We would have stayed another day but my parents are coming for a visit on Sunday", Vivian said.
I nodded and checked my phone. It was three in the afternoon.
"Maybe we should pack a backpack and go on a hike before we leave", Vincent suggested.
Everyone nodded and we went into our tents. I grabbed my black Jansport and threw in a sweater, a flashlight, some junk food, and some water.
I put the portable charger for my phone inside as well and zipped it up, slung it over my shoulders and headed outside.
We all began hiking up some boring nature trail and I was just zoning out as we walked.
"Mike! Don't eat those!", Vincent scolded Mike, who was picking berries.
They bickered for a couple more minutes and we finally continued on with our little journey.
I had to admit, it was pretty nice out here. There were so many trees and plants and I liked the smell.
I noticed Vic staring off into some trees.
I stopped next to him and followed his gaze.
In the distance, there was something shuffling around in the bushes.
"What is it?", I asked.
"Shh!", Vic shushed me and narrowed his eyes, trying to get a better look.
