I woke up with Vic next to me the morning after. The sun was shining brightly and I nudged him awake.

He snuggled deeper into my chest and I shook him awake.

  "What?", he grumbled.

"We should probably start walking again", I said. Vic nodded and got up.

We ate some of the granola bars I had and drank some water, then packed up and continued walking in the same direction as before.

So far, none of us had mentioned last night.

"So", I began, following after Vic.

  "So?", he asked.

  He seemed a bit off.

  "About last night..", I began.

Vic stopped and turned to me, his face angry.

"I knew it! You'd just want a good fuck and then regret it in the morning. You're so selfish. You're a dick, Quinn", Vic snapped.

"Woah, Vic. Listen to me", I tried to talk some sense into him.

"No! I knew you'd do this. You can't just play with people's emotions like that! You knew I fucking liked you and you used it to fuck me and here you are with the whole-", I cut him off by pressing my lips against his.

I kissed him hard and passionately, trying to express everything I couldn't say.

I pulled away and rested my forehead on his.

"I was gonna ask if you'd be mine", I said, grabbing his hand and lacing our fingers together.

Yeah, I think this is extremely weird too. But it didn't matter to me because it felt right.

I didn't care if I used to hate him. All I knew was I wanted him.

  "W-what?", he asked.

  "Be mine?", I repeated.

Vic answered me by kissing me hungrily.

He jumped and I caught him, letting him wrap his legs around my waist.

"Yes", he breathed when I pulled away.

I kissed him again and put him down, grinning like an idiot.

  Maybe I was crazy.

  Crazy for Vic.

"I'm tired", I whined, stopping. Vic sighed and stopped as well.

"Let's take a water break", he said. I nodded and pulled out the last water bottle.

"Last one", I said l, taking a gulp and handing it to him.

"Let's save the rest", he said, handing it back to me. I nodded and put it back in my backpack.

I noticed Vic was all tensed up. I went over to him and put my hands on his waist from behind.

  "Calm down", I murmured.

I rubbed circles into his hips and I felt him let out a breath, un-tensing.

"Thanks", he said, turning to face me. I pressed my lips to his in a reassuring kiss.

"Let's keep going", I said. Vic nodded and we kept walking.

It was still very weird to even think of Vic in a romantic way, but I kind of liked it.

  I don't know, I'm just weird.

I grabbed my phone and turned it on, checking for service bars. When I found none, I sighed and went to the music app.

  "Hey Vic", I called.

He stopped and turned to me. I pressed play and went over to him, singing along and dancing with him.

"I'd give up forever to touch you

Cause I know that you feel me somehow

  You're the closest to heaven,

  That I'll ever be

And I don't want to go home right now", I sang.

"What are you doing?", Vic asked.

"I don't want the world to see me

  Cause I don't think that they'd understand

When everything's meant to be broken

I just want you to know who I am".

I pressed my lips to Vic's when I saw the very obvious blush on his face.

He kissed back instantly and gripped my shoulders tighter.

"We'll be okay", I said softly.

Vic's eyes flashed with something I didn't quite recognize before he smiled at me and nodded.

We kept walking again, but this time I didn't let go of his hand.

Vic and I was wandered off again until it was too dark to keep on.

"I hope we're close", I said, plopping down next to Vic as we laid down by the fire.

I held him in my arms and sighed in content.

"Kellin?", Vic asked, looking up at me.

  "Hmm?", I asked.

"When we go back home..are we still..gonna be like this?", he asked, sounding unsure.

"Of course. As long as you still want to", I murmured. I felt Vic smile against my neck and nuzzle his face against it.

  "Oh. Kellin?", Vic asked.

  "Yeah?", I asked.

  "Goodnight", he mumbled.

"Night Vic", I replied, holding him tighter.
