I wake up looking around the room. I see Glow sitting on her bed reading a book called 'This Book Loves You'. "Hey why aren't you in class?" I ask. "Today we have off. It's Q.'s birthday," she say looking up.
"Hey when's your birthday?" I ask laying back down. "March 27th," Glow says. "When's yours?" Oh my gods! "Tomorrow!" I say jumping out of bed.
"We have to tell Alley," Glow says getting out of bed. I go to our closet and grab a Sam t-shirt and some jeans. I put them on and run out the door. My black hair sparkling.
"Alley!" I scream. "What?!?" Alley screams back. "My birthday is in one day!" I scream again. "I'll get two cakes then!" she screams. I hear keys falling and Alley banging her head.
At the top of the stairs I see Wade in no shirt. I couldn't stop looking. "Like what you see?" He asks striking a pose. "Um... Ah..." I stutter. A blush crept to my checks.
Wade walks down the stairs facing me with a stern look on his face. I had no idea what he was planning but I could see in his eyes it was something big.
Wade leaned in and I backed up. I hardly even knew the guy and he was about to kiss me! He snaked his arms around my waist.
I had never noticed Wade's chocolate eyes, and how his lips were so pink. Stop! I thought. "I've been wanting to do this ever since I laid my eyes on you," he says. Then before I had time to react he kissed me.
Wade pulled back and hugged me. He was so warm. I buried my head into his chest. I hear a whistle and I look up. There at the top of the stairs was a heartbroken looking Levy. I struggled out of Wade's arms and turned around Glow is standing by our door.
I turned back to Levy and it dawned on me. She looked like a punk with her short hair. But she was so soft around me. Levy the punk liked the new girl.
"One day!" Alley says coming out of the kitchen. I look at her on the verge of tears. "Oh bad time," she says and walks off.
