I wake up slowly and get out of bed. I look over at Glow's bed and blink. She's not in her bed reading or just lying there. Then it hits me, she has classes! I should've know that.
I go over to the drawer and grab a dark blue blouse. One of the only shirts Glow has that's not merch. I go into the bathroom and take a quick shower. I change into the blouse and walk into the kitchen.
I grab a bowl, some cereal, and a spoon. I sit down at the table and start to eat. I hear a door open and boots stomping up to the kitchen door.
"Where's Alley?" I hear a gruff man's voice say. I turn around and see a man that looks a lot like a lumberjack. "Classes," I say turning back to my cereal.
"Hey! I wasn't done!" The man shouts at me. "I'm just very interested in this cereal," I say through a mouth full of cereal. He sighs and comes up to me. "Who are you anyway?" he asks.
"Marlete," I lie. I hardly even know this weird man who barged into Alley's home. "That is not your name. I can see right through you," he says.
I turn to him with a stern face. "Who are you?" I ask. "I'm Paul Walls," the man says. "Wait you're Alley's husband?" I ask shocked "Ex-husband," Paul corrects me.
"Well I'm Marcy," I say. I never knew Alley had an ex-husband, it's weird. "Ok, Marcy now please tell me where the classroom is?" Paul says sitting in the chair next to me.
I shrug. "What do you mean you don't know?" Paul asks. "Haven't had classes yet," I say eating more cereal. I hear a pair of feet come into the kitchen. "Paul! Why are you here?" I hear Alley say.
