Warfront: Gatria at War

Chapter Six

-This part is going to be in the perspective of Martins-

What was I thinking of about exposing myself like that. I race down the building trying to get to the ground floor before the Imperium is onto me. I thought I reached the ground floor but I instead went to a place with lots of steam engineering. So I knew I was in the city steam power system. It's like a under ground city down here.

I disguise myself as a worker and try to sneak out of steam central. I had gotten totally lost. The more I went through this place the more I had no idea where I was going. Steam started spraying off from the pipes around me. Then I heard some metal squeaking then all of the sudden *BANG*. I fall unconscious.

-We're going to be following David with the Folklore Rebellion-

Free spirit told me "Magic is returning to the world and you are the key to finally break the spell. Will you help me and my people."

I declined but Free Soul and the elven people couldn't accept it. They forced me to join them. I was now their prisoner. They tied me up and forced me to travel with them to Vallcam Mountain. They treated me well when I didn't resist. My hands were bound behind my back. I walked with two guards side to side.

"Where did you learn to fight like that." A elven boy asks me.

"Honestly I didn't know what I was doing. The rage controlled me as I ran to the enemy. My bloodlust took control and I couldn't stop myself." I answer to him.

"No one taught you?" The boy asks.

"Nope. I just don't have any patience with people who murder and kill my friends." I said.

"Your family wasn't in danger?" The boy asks so inquisitively.

"My real family is dead the only thing I had left was my friends but they took someone very important to me away." I say while my blood starts to rush.

Thinking of it is starting to get me mad. I strain my binds with all my strength. I feel them start to rip. I can easily get out but what's the point.

-Back to Martins after he wakes up from being knocked out-

I wake up and I am laying on a nice couch in an a apartment room. I feel the side of my head because it still hurts a little. I have a bandage around the area. I lean up and immediately feel dizzy. I fall off the couch making a loud thump. I try to get up remembering the shit situation I am in. I here someone coming so I try to find some place to hide. I silently get into a closet.

"Hello, are you awake? I am only trying to help. I know you are the enemy but I only want to help." A woman says while approaching.

I am hungry, hurt and lost. I need help. So I step out and announce myself.  "If you really mean to help me than my name is Sid." She looks over to me and smiles. Something happened just than that I can't explain. I felt something.

"My name is Mia, would you like some breakfast." Mia says back to me.

We sit down together and share a conversation over our meal. She tells me she found me after I was knocked out by a loose bolt that shot out.

"I didn't recognize you as one of my workers then I found your pistol on you and noticed it was made by the U.F.. Then I realized you're the soldier they were looking for. I was going to report you but then I saw your leg and it reminded me of my brother. He was scarred and only needed help." She told me.

She made me feel safe and cared for even though I was the enemy. It warmed my heart and nothing did that before. I tell her what happened to me and my squad. Then she asks what happened to my leg. I look down at it in a depressing way. She apologizes for bringing up any bad memories but I said "It's ok, I had to let it out sometime or another." I tell her about the attack on my town.

She said to me "The Imperium got attacked first at an Army base by the U.F., the imperium troops informed us."

"I am not lying to you, I don't see a point in lying to you. Could you look at me in the eyes and tell me I am lying?" I said to her looking at her eyes.

She answered me staring back with a smile "I believe you."

"Thank you." I said.

-This part of the story we will be following an Imperium soldier in a Spec Ops team infiltrating a U.F. storage facility-

As my team silently approached under the cover of night I couldn't help but think something was wrong. The U.F. guards weren't on high patrol status because of how behind the front lines they were. A fatal mistake. First we cut their power then the breach came. We came in fast guns blazing. We acquired the cargo and packed it in trucks and quickly took off. Before we knew it we had 30 tons of U.F. power crystals. All of the other crystals that were there we destroyed with T.N.T.. It was enough to turn the whole tide of the war.

-At this part we are going back to Sid Martins at the edge of the Imperium town with Mia-

We had talked for a long time but that shortly lasted when Imperium soldiers came. I had to leave the town quickly the Imperium soldiers were looking everywhere for me. Luckily Mia was there for me and drove me out of town.

"Thank you for everything you done for me. I wish to see you again after this war." I said to her.

"Your welcome, I wish to see you too after all this." She says with that beautiful smile of hers.

"Goodbye." I say with a smile. Then I realized I just smiled it has been such a long time since the last time I smiled. I start to walk away.

"Wait!" She commands me.

Ounce I turn to face her she kisses me on the cheek and says "I'll be waiting for you."

"And I will return." I said to her with a smile still on my face.

I will see her again. I am done with this war.
