Chapter 9: Captured

Emily was sitting on the couch in the living room, eating soup that she had made and debated weather to see if the TV still worked or not. She was cuddled up Jeff's hoodie that he let her borrow, surprisingly, so that she wouldn't get cold. The hoodie wasn't clean and it smelled kinda bad, but it's worth it to at least be a little warm. She then heard a noise coming from upstairs; sounded as of Jeff had dropped something heavy on the floor. She decided to go upstairs and see what he was doing.
She sprinted up the stairs and listened very carefully to something... unusual. She heard someone... laughing? crying? she couldn't really tell weather it was one of those two it sound like a little of both. She creeped in the doorway of a room that Jeff was in, and watched him for awhile. He was sitting on the edge of a bed, with his head down, making a strange noise that almost sounded like a dog growling but at the same time crying. Was he mad?
" Mommy... you lied to me mommy, how could you? I thought you loved me... your suppose to love your children mommy!" he said to himself. Emily grew considered." You though I was crazy! A madman! I'm your son! didn't you recognize your own baby boy?!" now he was crying," I'm sorry mommy. Please come home, I won't kill again... Liars! Liars everywhere!"
Emily started backing away from the door, she knew Jeff was about to explode." I'm cold... Emily...where's my Emily?" he whispered loud enough for her to hear. Emily quickly and quietly made her way back downstairs before he did, again.
She went back to the couch and pretended to not be aware of him. She turned on the TV, and watched whatever was on, then heard Jeff coming." Emily? Are you in here?"
" Yeah," she answered," I'm in the living room."
Jeff walked slowly to the living room and smiled. Not because there was a smile carved in his face, but because he was happy to see her. He had on a double smile.
" There you are," he said happily," can I have my hoodie back? I'm getting cold."
" Sure." Emily said, took off the hoodie, and handed it to him. He put it on and then sat down next to her.
" What are you watching?" he asked.
" I have no idea." she answered and giggled at the end.

" No! Please! please let me go!"
" Fuckers like you don't deserve life!" Jeff said and brutally started stabbing him in the stomach with every ounce of anger he had in him. Some blood got on his bottom lip and he gladly licked it off; the deed was done, the intruder was dead.
Jeff picked up the bleeding corpse and disposed it with the rest. He then went in search of Emily since she ran off hiding and screaming from the event.
" Emily! Emily it's okay he's dead now! you can come out now, my darling!" Jeff yelled across the house. He heard a door open and close and footsteps walking towards him; he swiped out his knife ready to attack whoever was behind him.
" You called for me?"
" Oh, it's only you, Emily," Jeff said and put the knife back in his hoodie pocket." Don't sneak up on me like that."
" Sorry."
" It's alright." Jeff said. Emily stared at him in shock to the sight of him covered in fresh crimson blood; which was no surprise, but the sight to her was shocking. Not only did he look horrifying... he also looked rather... stunning. Suddenly, Jeff started twitching, his eyes grew wider than usual, and he started giggling; his giggling quickly turned into a mad-mans laughter. Emily grew concerned.
" Jeff... are-are you okay?"
" The urge! I need to satisfy the urge... To kill!" Jeff said as he ran past Emily with lighting speed, and burst through the front door that was the last Emily saw him... at least for the rest of the day.
" Dear Diary,
It's been over 8 hours since I last seen Jeff. He must be going out to satisfy his bloodlust, what a fucking...no, I can't say anything bad about Jeff at least he tries to make me happy. I'm happy I found this journal when I got here its been kinda lonely not being able to talk to anyone since Jeff kidnapped me and brought me to this shit hole.
I wanna go home... I just can't stay here just longer I want to play outside again, I want to be free! If anyone reads this. Please. Help me.
