First Sight 21.3 - Stay Safe

"May I court you and let's go out on a date?"

The words came into my mouth.

"Jungkook..."

I stared at her face. I am waiting for her answer. I clasp her hands. "Jebal..."

"Jungkook, I like you but... the thing is... there's someone also pursues me. It's my best friend Minho. He's always been good to me ever since. He loves me unconditionally, protects me when I'm in danger, guides and gave everything."

Aish~ the mention of that guy's name again makes me sick. I remembered what he told me the night when I brought Ji-eun home.

She's the reason for my hard work and determination. She makes me happy. I want to protect and fight for her as much as I could. We're not yet a couple but I'll make sure it will go there. Almost there.

She's already mature and think for the future. She already graduates to that kind of stuffs. If you resume being a puppy that follows her everywhere, you're just causing pain in yourself and soon you'll going to realize that she's not meant for you. You are completely different from her.

I'm hundred percent sure, we'll better watch out and see for it. Don't worry I won't mention her about what we talked about here. I am a little mercy here because I think I'm starting to pity you. I have a little kindness. I am kind in this face even if you piss me off right now. So you have to thank me for that.

I don't know how will I compete him. He's so scary and unusual when I visited in school he almost killed me when he found out Ji-eun screamed. I see his eyes glared like he's going to eat me. Doesn't he know what words came out in his mouth?

"Are you trying to tell me he's way better?"

"Ji-eun," I hold her arms. "I know that he liked you too. I can sense it plus he already told me about it. I accepted his challenge."
