First Sight 13 - Manager Hyung

Jungkook's POV

We gathered in the living room where we sit next to each other while Namjoon hyung and Manager Sejin hyung stood in front of us..

"Ok," Namjoon hyung starts. "So... Me, Jin and manager hyung made a brief research about the institute."

"We all knew about RBU but of course we'll be making sure about your safety and security during your visit," the manager states.

"S.M. Entertainment said no worries about dressing rooms and the facilities in RBU but STILL we need to scatter information and other concerns," Namjoon hyung explained emphasizing 'still'. "You know we don't trust the agency."

Manager puts his hands together. "So, while you were resting, we secretly went to RBU to ask and observe more. Interview some of the staffs and everything. And of course we'll be assuring that this will be a fun-filled event for all of you to enjoy."

There's a smile formed in our faces. Jimin raised his hand. Manager called for his attention.

"What benefits and the fee we'll be having?" Jimin ask.

"It's up to S.M. to decide that since they requested for you. We need to decide first before you get the benefit tomorrow."

What?! We need to know first before we can join force with them! This is unfair!" There's astonishment in our faces even Namjoon hyung. I think they didn't talk about this before.

"I think it's the best for us to know first before accepting their offer," Yoongi hyung commented.

"Yeah! They're not playing it cool. They have to consider this first before anything else." Hoseok hyung says.

"Mianhae Bangtan but Si-hyuk told me to gather you here and talk about it as Soo Man ordered."

"He can't just follow orders from that old man, Si-hyuk owns Big Hit. He owns us, not theirs." Namjoon said in defense.

"He must be crazy." TaeTae smirks.

No, the S.M. must be crazy for taking advantage of Big Hit's ability to handle events. They shouldn't have been here in the first place and dictate us what to do. Bang Si-Hyuk must know that he is the boss here and he needs to decide what's best for us.

"What are we going do now?" Jin hyung asks.

"We don't have a choice but to follow them." Manager says.

"We don't follow them. They are not making the rules in Big Hit. We follow Si-hyuk here." Hoseok hyung stated.

"I... Think..." I started. I don't know what to say. They drag their attention to me already.

"C'mon Kookie, what is it you wanted to say?" TaeTae encourages me and smiles.

"I... Think... They brainwashed our owner," I finally completed my sentence with a sigh.

"No, our owner presented himself and he followed what Soo Man instructed," the manager states.

"How is that possible?" Jin asks. "PD-nim never had an association with them."

"Si-hyuk used to work with them as a composer." He realized what he just said. This is obviously a secret.

"What?!" Namjoon hyung says in hostility.

"Why didn't we know this before?" Jin hyung says. "This is new."

So that's the reason why Si-hyuk kept on negotiating to Soo Man ever since. He used to be S.M.'s employee before.
