HARRY'S POV-
I stayed in bed until the next afternoon when someone knocked on the door. I jumped out of bed and ran down the stairs, opening the door as quickly as possible.
Instead of the girl I was waiting for, her sister was stood there instead. I sigh loudly.
"Thanks for that," she looks at me annoyed.
"No I'm sorry, I thought you were Flo," I tell her.
"Well I've come for her stuff," she says pushing past me into the house.
"Up the stairs to the left," I tell her. She makes her way upstairs and I hear her banging about.
I go to the kitchen to make some food but something stops me short. On the counter there's a doctor's appointment with Flo's name on it. Her next appointment is in January, I have to go and see her. But that was two months away, could I wait that long? What could I do for two months, I wondered.
In that moment I decided that I would get my life back together. Who was I kidding? I hated drinking all the time, and I was just tired of the same old fake girls.
I wanted Flo, it just took me way too long to realise.
I heard Maddy coming back down the stairs and shoved the slip into my pocket.
"Got everything?" I ask her. She nods and makes her way straight to the door. "Maddy wait," I tell her. She sighs, halfway out the door. "Please just look after her," I say sincerely. Maddy stares at me and smiles.
"I'm getting my life together, just for her," I also tell her.
"Good," she simply says before slipping out of the door.
I shut it, ready to plan out my new life.
FLO'S POV-
"I'm back," Maddy's voice shouts through the apartment. I'd taken up home again in the small beautiful room. Maddy walks in and sees me lying in bed.
"God you're both the same," she laughs.
"What did he say?" I ask her hopefully.
"He told me he's turning his life around," she chuckles, throwing my stuff onto my bed.
"Do you think he will?" I ask her. She just looks at me disbelievingly.
"You need to get out of bed though. Shall we go out tonight?," she asks.
"Sorry, I'm going to Tom's. I need to talk this all out with him," I tell her.
------------
I knocked on Tom's door and he answered immediately.
"Hey, how're you?" He asks me as we sit down.
"I've been better," I smile weakly at him.
"What's happened?" He asks. I hadn't told Tom anything yet because I didn't want to freak him out.
"Good news or bad news first?" I laugh.
"Good first please," he says, taking my hand in his. I place it on my belly.
"It's a girl," I grin, watching his eyes sparkle.
"Flo that's amazing! Two beautiful girls for me!" He exclaims.
"And the bad news. I'm living back at Maddy's. Me and Harry had another argument," I tell him.
"About what?" He asks concerned.
"He didn't come to my appointment yesterday. He was too busy with Sylvia," I tell him disgusted. Tom doesn't say anything, just stares at me.
"Are you jealous of her?" He bursts out.
"What?! Of course I'm not jealous of her. Why would I be?" I tell him, amazed he would think that.
"Because she has Harry," he says disappointed.
"Tom please, I don't have feelings for him," I tell him.
"I'm sorry I just can't believe you. Your eyes tell me differently," he says sadly. Tears sting in my eyes. "Look me in the eyes and tell me that," he tells me.
I look into his chocolate brown eyes but my mouth stays wide open. I stutter but nothing seems to come out. "See," he says.
"I'm sorry," I break down, "I don't know what to feel."
His strong arms wrap round me as I cry on his shoulder.
"Flo I understand completely. You're going through a stressful time in your life," he soothes me.
"I'm so sorry," I cry.
"Shhh," he says, stroking my hair. I couldn't believe he was being this nice to me after I lead him on for so long.
I wipe my eyes dry and sit back.
"Are you okay now?" He asks me.
"Yeah, I think I should go," I say standing up.
"Or you could stay here and we could chat," he looks at me.
"Sure," I laugh. So that's what I did. We talked all night about Harry and things that have happened. And it wasn't awkward in the slightest. He gave me his advice, and I took it.
When I was leaving I hugged him again. "I just have to say, thank you for everything. I've had a great time these past few months, and you've kept me sane," I smile.
"Don't say it like its goodbye," he grins, "we're friends now right?" He asks. I nod at him smiling. "If you ever need me Flo, I will be right here for you. I'll still always care for you," he tells me and it brings tears to my eyes. I blink them away before I start crying.
I throw my arms around his neck and he squeezes my waist.
"Thank you," I say into his chest. I let go and give him one last peck on his cheek. As I walk down the street I wave to him.
"See you in the supermarket!" He shouts at me. I laugh more than I have done in a long time.
I get in my car and take a deep breath in. This is it. This is my life. Nothing to hold me down, nothing to get me down.
I was going to become a new Flo.
