That Runaway Girl

Chapter 9:

I stepped away from Luke, but he wouldn't let me go unless I promised him I'd call him almost everyday. I sighed then agreed, maybe I need to stay a bit closer to him in case anything happens, to be honest, I feel at peace when he's around, and when he's with me, so since I didn't have Luke, I was looking for someone else to talk to, to keep me company, now that Chase and I are over, I have nobody again. I sighed then walked back on the main road to get home until I jumped and someone honked their horns. I turned around and Saw Luke in his car.

"Get in, I'm not letting you walk home." He yelled the opened the door, but I walked past him, this didn't stop him from driving up to me again.

"Brooklyn, stop being stubborn and get in the car." He groaned, but I shook my head. I could here him sigh, and he opened his door and then shut it, and started walking towards me. I shrieked then bolted away from him, which only caused him to run after me. And of course I lost because he has super long legs and I have super short ones

He picked me up and started carrying me to the car.

"Luke no! You can't see where I live!" I groaned and he chucked

"Is that all your worried about?" He chuckled and I nodded my head.

"Stop being silly, it's either I see where you live or you stay with us, because I'm not letting you walk home on this busy street."

Well what's worse, staying with them or seeing where I live. "Okay drop me off at home, but you can't come uninvited, or all the time, I'm still upset." I sighed and he nodded

When we arrived at my apartment, I thanked him and said goodnight, I was about to get out when he grabbed my arm gently and I looked into his eyes.

"Please, just think over what I said, Please, if this relationship can be fixed, I'm willing to do whatever it takes, we can go slow, at whatever pace you want." He said. I nodded because I would like someone in my life who would like to talk to me and is fun to be around. Once I agreed, he sighed in relief.

"Brooke, I love you." He said and I nodded. And got out and shut the door, I gave a short wave before I opened the door and walked in.

Once I walked in, I walked straight up to my room changed into my pjs and climbed into my bed. And drifted off to sleep.

"Brooke? Are you there? I just wanted to say I love you once again, and that we should get together some time, get our minds off things, I'll try my best to get your mind off everything that is bugging you, because that's what I'm here for, I love you I want to, I want to kiss you once again, someday I wish I can called you mine again, maybe sometime soon baby, sometime soon I'll be yours, but for now I'm willing to take it slow, I've found you and now I'm not letting you go, letting you leave, that was my first mistake last time, I let you walk away, your That RunAway Girl, that runaway girl who haunts my dreams, whispering in my ear, your voice never leaving my head, how I've failed, how I let you go. But now, You little Runaway girl, your not going to runaway, I've made a promise to myself, and to you, and I'm not going to break that promise, I'm going to keep it, because I'm so deeply in love with A RunAway girl, and she is called Brooke, Brooklyn Star Green."

I gasped and shot up from my bed, my forehead sweaty and I was shaking, I got up and ran to my bathroom and splashed some cold water on my face to try and remain relaxed. Then I found myself picking up my phone and dialling Luke's number.

"Brooke? Are you okay? What's wrong is 2 in the morning."

"Luke." I chuckled "I'm fine, but could you come over? I'm lonely."

I could almost hear his smile from over the phone.

"I'd be glad to, on my way."

A/N: okay I had to update this chapter tonight, I couldn't wait until morning! So how's this chapter? Vote comment and follow for notifications on when I'm going to update!
