"Hello," I spoke, deepening into a low bow. "My name is Adelaide Clarice Demmins." My voice was a tad shaky. Talking to Harry was one thing, but speaking to the king and queen was another.
"Oh my god! You're the Adelaide my little brother has been talking non-stop about! You're much prettier in person, your mugshots don't do you any good." Princess Gemma chattered happily.
"You've, you've seen m-my mugshots?" I nervously replied, turning scarlet. A butler led me to my seat, it was across from Princess Gemma and beside Harry.
"I haven't been talking non-stop about her." Harry spoke blushing, he turned the colour of the tomatoes my family grew.
"Yeah and I'm not the princess of Aola." The Princess spoke, cackling.
"It's okay, Princess." I started, brushing off my dress. "I know the prince is obsessed with me." I giggled and winked at Harry. He seemed quite shocked that I referred to him as Prince, but I hoped he realized it was only because his parents were present.
"Adelaide I'm not obsessed, just keen." Harry explained, trying to be nonchalant about the subject. I noticed the king and queen hadn't said anything since I sat down, they were just watching and listening, smiling everyone and a while.
"Same thing, Harold." Princess Gemma joked casually.
It was weird to her, her family wasn't someone she had to impress or worry about saying the wrong thing, they were just her family."So Adelaide," the queen started, I sat up in my chair. "Where do you come from? I obviously know Aola, but what town?" The queen asked, slightly laughing.
"Carter village, it's just east of the city, majesty." I explained, nervously. "My grandparents on both sides moved here from Australia a few years before having children. My grandparents on my dads side and my moms side were the best of friends and that's how my parents met. All of their children, except for my brother Corbin are named after city's there. I think they just gave up with him." I said, laughing.
"How many siblings do you have?" The queen inquired, moving closer in her chair.
"At home, two." I said, slightly avoiding the question.
"Interesting." The queen simply stated, leaning back in her chair. She spoke like she knew things that she wasn't saying. She couldn't know, we hid it too well.
"Shall we eat?" The king asked, seeming impatient. He seemed dangerously skinny, I assumed it was caused by his sickness.
"Of course, father." Harry quietly responded.

Dinner, even though kind of awkward in the beginning, was nice. They chatted amongst themselves, while I just watched and listened. Every once in a while, Harry would notice I wasn't talking, so he try and include me in the conversation. I had never really seen a family talk to each other like a real family. It was nice to see.
"Adelaide!" I heard a voice call as I was walking through the castle halls. "Wait up!" The voice sounded out of breath. "Please I never run, I'm a princess!"
The princess finally rounded the corner and landed in front of me. I did a small curtsy at her presence, then helped her to stand up.
"Why didn't you stop?" She asked, her breath still heavy.
I let out a laugh."I did, princess." I responded, laughing.
"Really?"
"Really."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Oh, well then." She said, standing up and unwrinkling her dress. "And please stop calling me princess! It so annoying to have someone calling you by your title all the time. Gemma, my name is fine." She spoke, exaggerating the word 'all'.
"Oh, okay..." I replied, my words trailing off. She then quickly swung her arm around my shoulders and yelled,
"Let's go!"
"Where?" I asked very confused.
"To my chambers!" She exclaimed in a sing song voice.
"Why?" I yelled, skipping along with her.
"So I can show you my shit, obviously." She said, turning her head at me and giving me a 'duh' face.
We arrived at a staircase, it was made of white marble and the railings were made out of gold. The gold was twisting in all directions, creating beautiful shadows that bled into the walls.
"I guess we're going to have to separate for this part of the journey." Gemma spoke sadly. "Race you!" She exclaimed, shooting off up the stairs.
"No!" I yelled chasing after her. "No one can beat me!"
Gemma ended up beating me, but I will definitely win next time. It turned out that Gemma and her family all lived on the top floor, so we had to walk way too many stairs to get to the top. We both ended being out of breath.
"Why. Did. We. Do. That?" Gemma asked, holding her chest tightly.
"I don't know, but how do you do this everyday?" I asked, leaning onto the top floors stairs railing.
"I don't," she started, her breath still heavy."I normally take the lift."
"You have a lift?!" I exclaimed. "We didn't we take it?" I asked, holding my stomach. I felt like I was going to throw up.
"I forgot, I was too caught up in the moment." Gemma said, slightly cackling.
"You're insane, I hope you know this." I said slightly serious. She laughed, before saying,
"I know, Harry thinks I should be put into a 'home'." Gemma said, nodding her head. I couldn't tell if she was being serious or not. "Anyways, my room is this way."
She then led me down a hall and into a giant bedroom.
