The room was huge. As you first walked in there was a sitting area with some bookshelves, as you moved inward to the right was there was two big doors, after those doors was a bedroom. The bed was big enough to fit five grown men in starfish position. To the left, was a door that when opened led to a bathroom, also on this wall was a vanity with a massive mirror. To the right, was two more doors that led to Gemma's fabulous clothing collection.

"Ugh!" Gemma exclaimed, flopping onto her bed.

"What?" I asked laughing. I sat down on the bed next to her.

"I'm so lonely, but my parents don't even let me have contact with males. I want some booty!" Gemma shouted, exasperated. I shushed her, in hopes that her parents didn't hear. "Please," Gemma started amused, "the walls are sound proof. Who would want to hear the royal family fucking?"

"True, but there are some crazy fuckers out there." I laughed and sat down on the bed next to her.

"So..." We both said in unison.

"Do you like music?" Gemma asked, her head slightly tilted to the side.

"I've only ever heard music from the travelers, but I'd like to hear some proper music." I explained flattening any wrinkles in my dress.

She gestured for me to follow her into the corridor. We walked into the long hall. To the right was the stairs we climbed before, to the left the hall seemed almost never ending.

"My parent's room is at the end of the hall. A bit before that is Harry's room. I technically have the Prince's room and Harry has the Princess' room, but we switched because the Princess suite is next to the library and plus I wanted the bigger room." She explained as we walked, our arms linked.

A comfortable silence washed over the two of us. I took this time to look at my surroundings. Historical pictures lined the walls, all in Victorian style frames. The walls were made out of dark mahogany wood, having textures in the shape of squares. Every few meters there was a torch causing the lighting flicker every time we walked past one.

We stopped in front of a grand door, it was definitely triple the size of me. I could only imagine the size of the room that followed this entrance.

The library was grand. The ceiling was triple as high as the door. Thousands of books sat on the hundreds of bookshelves. I could only gape at the site of it all. Gemma noticed the look on my face.

"If you think this is great, you should see the real library." The princess spoke, disrupting the silence from moments ago.

"What do you mean?" I asked wide eyed.

"Adelaide, this is only the royal family library . There's an ever bigger one on the first floor." She laughed, amused by my amazement.

I had only ever read 10 novels in my lifetime, my family was and still is poor. So it wasn't like like I could go around spending money on books every week.

"What did we come here to do again?" The princess inquired, before I could respond, she answered the question herself. "Oh right! The music!"

She led me through the maze of bookshelves and we stopped after finally reaching the west wall. There was a door, it was definitely the smallest I'd seen in the castle. Other than the doors used by the maids and servants.

We walked through the door and it led to a fairly big room. It was the size as your average nobles man bedroom. This meant it was bigger than Corbin and I's room.

The walls were lined with big squares with pictures and words on them and at the far end pf the room there was a machine of some sort.

"What are these?" I asked Gemma, gesturing to the colourful squares on the walls surrounding us. She laughed,

"Records, have you never seen one before?" Gemma inquired sitting on one of the two chairs.

"No," I expressed, my cheeks red,  "I've only ever seen live music, like I said before." I explained, slightly embarrassed.

"Oh," she said sadly, "well, these are records like I said they hold music on them. This is a record player, it plays the music." She explained, gesturing to the objects as she told me what they were.

"I think I've got it." My ego recovering and my confidence coming back. "Records. Record player." I said, pointing to each objects as I spoke.

She nodded, then proceeded to pick a record off the wall. She picked one of the few black and white ones. She put it into the player and the music started.

The music was soft, it was nothing like the music I'd heard during festivals. That type of music was restless and wild. This music was calm and collected, the opposite of me.

"This records my favourite, it's the most exciting out of all the other ones." Gemma stated, leaning back in her chair comfortably.

"Please, Gemma," her ears perked at the sound of me calling her by her real name, "This is calm compared to what I've heard. If you like the faster music, we'll have to sneak you out to this months festival, so you can hear it all." I smirked, sitting in the other chair.

"There's music louder and faster than this?" Gemma exclaimed, bewildered. I nodded profusely, with a giant smile on my face. "Wow." The princess whispered, astonished.

We then sat there for hours, chatting and just listening to the classical music that played. Nothing really important was said just things like our favourite colour, our first crush stories, the story behind my mugshots. I didn't feel the need to tell Gemma or hell, anyone in this castle about Niall. I wasn't going to fall in love with Harry, so why did it matter that I had a significant other?

"Oh shit!" Gemma yelled, standing up and shooting her chair backwards.

"What?" I exclaimed, also standing up.

"It's 1a.m, we've been in here for 5 hours!" The princess explained, rushing to turn of the music and get out of the library.

"Wait, how do you know?" I asked, confused. She pulled a pocket watch out of her dress pocket and showed me the time. "Oh shit!"

We both said our goodbyes and rushed to bed.
