Chapter 2: The Party

*MAGIC SKIP TIME!!!*

The rest of the week had gone by in a blur. She had made friends with Molly, the Blondie she had classes with. Turns out she is Wade's girlfriend. She told Jordan and the rest of her friends about the party. She was also super excited about her three friends Maddie, Annie, and Dina coming to visit. Maddie was going to be there that weekend, so she was going to the party too. It was 10am, Saturday, when Maddie arrived. Riley opened the door, and Maddie held her arms open wide as she walked in the door, bags in hand. She was wearing a Doctor Who shirt, sweats, and sneakers. "TIME TO GET SEXY!" she sang out loudly, making Riley howl with laughter. Maddie was crazy, but the good kind, and she always had a way to make Riley crack up. The two went to Riley's bathroom to get ready. Riley scrunched her already wavey hair, making it curly, and applied as little make up as she could. Maddie, however, went all out: straightened and styled her hair, and did her make up out full blast. Then, when Maddie stepped out in a blue TARDIS themed dress, Riley laughed. Maddie laughed with her. "So what are you gonna wear?" Maddie asked. Riley went into the bathroom and in a few moments stepped out in faded, ripped blue jeans, Georgia boots, and a green tank-top. She smiled, loving the way the jeans fit her curvy figure. She smiled at Maddie, then they grabbed there wallets and walked out to Riley's car. They pulled up at the right house happily. The party was already in full swing: music, strobe lights, the whole she-bang. Riley and Maddie walked into the house shyly and, grabbing a beer on the way, stepped out to the back where the party was really at. Out here, the little dj area was set up under the car-port, and everyone was dancing around a small bonfire. Instead of buildings in the background, there were trees. Finally, some woods. Riley could do this. "Hey" someone said to her. She turned to see Mark in a green button-up, dark jeans and boots. And he was looking at her wide-eyed. She smiled, "Hi." she saw him swallow. "Ahh..." he said. "RILEY!" Maddie yelled, and ran over. "Oh, hi" he said to Mark. Turning back to Riley she said, "Riley they're doing karaoke c'mon please come sing." at this Mark perked up, "Yeah, lets go." he smiled, and the two managed to lead Riley over." This was going to be one hell of a night" Riley thought to herself.
