~ MAGIC SKIP TIME :D ~

"Hey Riley, whatcha up to?" I turned to see Mark walking over. I had been packing all morning, getting ready to fly out to set. I had gotten a call about  my audition: they thought I was wonderful, and I had gotten the part. "I have to go." I told Mark about me making the audition. When everything was loaded in my car, I looked over at Mark. He gave me a half smile, but he looked sad. I gave him a big hug ,"I'm not ditching you idjit," I mumbled in his ear, " I'll call you as soon as my plane lands, ok?" He nodded, and we pulled apart. I saw him from my review mirror, waving goodbye as I drove to the airport.

~SEVERAL HOURS LATER~

I was just sitting on my couch, petting my dog, Blade. I was happy for her, really; Riley was having her dreams come true as he sat there. But... I missed her. My phone vibrated in my pocket; I fumbled to get it, "Hello?' I asked. "Hey Mark" it was her. "Whatcha up to?" she asked. "just watching TV. You?" She laughed ,"I'm in the hair/make-up trailer. They sent me here like immediately to talk to everyone and get ready to film a few scenes. I'm super excited." I congratulated her. "Well, I have to go." she sighed, "Call you later ok. Bye Mark!" The line went dead. "bye" I mumbled dejectedly to no one. Mark was ok though; she had called him. That means she wasn't going to just leave.

~NOVEMBER~

" From the moment my face was on the show, people loved me. I now have a mass of fans, both for my career in Supernatural and me as a person. But it was time to go back to Cincinnati. Back to school, back to work, back to Mark. For now, I would have no more appearances on the show until next season, in which I would become a regular." I thought these things to myself as I flew home, as if I was narrating my life.  I missed my friends, Mark especially. Talking to him over the phone and watching his videos just wasn't enough. When my plane landed, I met Maddie with my car; she had been looking after it for me while I was gone. We talked the whole way to town, where we stopped at the bar I used to work at for a drink. "So how have you been?" I asked as we walked out of the bar. We had parked my car a little ways away, and I now severely regretted it because of the cold November night. "Fine, and- hey. What the hell is going on over there?" Maddie asked. She was looking down a dimly lit alley. You could jest barely make out two shadows, a man and a woman. She was up against the wall, cowering. The man raised his hand and hit her hard, causing her to cry out in pain. "Hold on" I said, then ran over. He had just raised his arm to hit her again when I got there, and kicked him hard in the stomach. He bent over in pain, and I brought up my knee and made sure it connected with his nose. The girl ran away, where Maddie held her, dialing 911. The man ran off, and I turned to go back to where they stood at the corner, when  a car fish tailed around, headlights shining right in my face. "Oh no" I thought grimly.

~Maddie~

I watched in terror as the man got out, gun in hand. The girl that was being harassed was behind me. I looked behind me to make sure she was alright, when a gunshot rang out. I looked up in time to see Riley fall, the man holding up the gun, smoke coming from the barrel. He began to walk towards her. "NO!" I screamed, as I could hear sirens in the distance. The police were on their way. Apparently the man could hear them too, because he growled and then hopped into his car, speeding away. The police pulled up, followed by an  ambulance. "Oh NO" I thought as I watched them load Riley into the vehicle quickly.

~Mark~

I was just uploading a video when my phone rang. I hoped it was Riley; she said she was coming back today. "Hello?" it was Maddie instead. "Mark." she sobbed. She began to tell him all of the nights events, "Mark, what do I do?" she asked him, but he had barely heard her. No... No no no no no this couldn't be happening. "No" I began to sob as I pulled on my coat to drive to the hospital. He ran into the lobby when he puled up. Maddie was sitting there crying. She looked up when he came in. "Where is she?" he asked, trying his best to keep from screaming at her. "Surgery. Mark... Mark she could." Maddie didn't finish. Didn't have to. I pulled my hair out, hot tears streaming down my face. I wanted to throw things, I wanted to scream, I wanted to find that son of a bitch and tear him to shreds. I wanted Riley. I dropped down into a chair, crying. Maddie stood up and walked over, hugging me before sitting down beside me. We sat there together, crying, waiting for someone to tell us if she was ok or not. "Mark" Maddie said after a while. I snapped my head up to  see a pretty doctor come up to us, her blonde hair up in a pony-tail. I stood up, "How is she?" I asked immediately. She sighed , "Surgery went well; we got the bullet out, no problems, her heart rate stayed steady. But.. then problems arose. Now she's." the nurse sighed, then looked Mark right in the eye, "She's in a coma." I felt the whole world come crashing down around me. Riley was in a coma. She could very easily die. NO.
