The next morning, as we were walking to breakfast, I received an alert on my phone.

------------------

Bismarckairport@donotreply.com:

Due to a major winter storm in central North Dakota, all flights to and from the Bismarck Airport will be canceled starting today. Because of the severity of the winter storm and the predicted amounts of snow, all flights will be canceled until further notice. We will keep in touch to give you any more updates on the situation. All flights are currently transferable, so please contact your airline or travel agent for more details. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you, and happy holidays.

I automatically stopped walking, causing Harry to run into me.

"What's wrong?" he asked, seeing my upset and flustered facial expression.

"My flight is canceled," I answered, scrunching my eyebrows as I tried to figure out what my next step would be.

I was starting to freak out a little bit. I quickly pulled up Bismarck's weather forecast. Great. Not only was my flight canceled, buy by the looks of the weather, I wouldn't be able to get a flight into Bismarck until after Christmas.

I was stranded.

And Christmas was in two days.

I was snapped back to reality by Harry saying, "What? Really?"

"Yeah," I sighed. "It looks like I will be stuck in the cities for a while. I could rent a car and try to drive there, I guess."

"No way I'm letting you do that!" he said.

Then, I swear I saw a lightbulb go on over Harry's head.

"Come with us to Denver!"

At this, the rest of our group gathered around me, clogging up the hallway. Harry explained the situation, and they all seemed to agree that I should come with them.

"I can't do that to you guys. You have already done so much for me," I answered, looking into the eyes of my new friends.

"Well, Christmas is about spending time with the people you care about. I know you want to spend it with your family, but since you can't, you should spend it with us. We care about you, and we don't want you to spend Christmas alone," Harry answered, slipping his hand into mine.

Internally, I was trying not to cry. Externally, I was trying not to cry. But I was also beaming. These guys and girls were so caring and quickly becoming like family to me.

"Are you sure?"

"Of course, love," Liam said, pulling me into a warm hug as the rest of the group mumbled in agreement.

"And I know what you are going to say," Kat said, giving me a look that said it all. "Don't worry about being an inconvenience. It won't cost us anything."

"We would love to have an extra friendly face at the Denver concert!" Niall piped in.

"Looks like it settled, then," I grinned. "Thanks, you guys."

"It's our pleasure," Harry said, giving my hand a gentle squeeze. "Now, how about we go get some of those banana waffles?"

------------------------------------------------

That afternoon, around 2, we landed at the next concert location: Denver. Kallie and I had spent about half of the flight dancing around and singing "Clouds." The boys thought it was cute at first, but got annoyed with it quickly. Kallie and I, however, thought we were comedic geniuses and also added in "Airplanes" and "Fly Away" by 5SOS.

As I climbed out of the private jet, I looked over to see Harry smiling at something on his phone.

"Whatcha smiling at, you goon?" I asked, taking in his cheesy grin.

Harry showed me his screen, which was playing a video of me and Kallie dancing and singing terribly along to "Clouds."

"Noooooooo!"

"Yep!" Harry laughed, as I tried to snatch his phone from him. "And it's going on our snapchat."

"Noooooooo!"

"Too late!"

"Aww, fudge," I grumbled.

"She means 'fuck'" Kallie cut in. "Little miss goody-two-shoes doesn't like to swear."

"Well I'm sorrrry," I huffed. "But it would be a bad idea for me to get into the habit of swearing, considering I work with kids everyday."

"Yeah, yeah," Kallie laughed. "Say 'fuck'."

"No!"

"Yes!"

"N- Fuck!" I said.

"Wow, someone is being a rebel," Kallie laughed.

"No! Fuck, guys, look at that crowd!"
