They traveled North to Esmül once more, it took them various days... When they arrived, they went directly to the College, it was in the center of the town mostly, in the center of the lake, in where the area was restricted due of the dangerous magiks practiced there. They were already preparing themselves to part ways, they spent a good time together, not so long though but they developed some trust and they had fun in Hidana even when it was dangerous. Also because Aliana's first friend ever was Cornelius.... And likewise, Cornelius was always in his native province of Xangdanther, studying to be a priest, and then going to the College of Esmül to master the magiks and skill he learned with the times.... Meaning he didn't have a lot of social life, or skills.... But still it was his decision since a child, and he was now making it a reality.
That's why maybe they get along so well. Both of them were distant, even before meeting and they wouldn't normally have a lot of talking, because of the works they needed to do, but still.... Fate made them be friends, and they valued it, until now. They reached Esmül and stop by the huge two floors gate, there Cornelius sighed and managed to look into Aliana's eyes... As he stared deeply into her colorful eyes.... He approached a little, maybe a bit too much, they were now blushing, and.... Cornelius only managed to say: "Thank you" and closed his eyes, and.... Hugged her. Aliana also thanked and now they were leaving, but something stopped them both, a bad feeling.... The College was too quiet, even for peeps practicing magiks, so something was totally wrong they thought...
They blasted the door open, Aliana got out her bow and readied it, while Cornelius prepared a paralyzing spell.... At the center of the building there was a man, being choked to death by a man in a coat, one similar as the one in the Inn of Halestorm. The noise of the door startled him and he quickly ran upstairs, Cornelius decided to help the man as Aliana started following him. Cornelius started helping him breathe and attend smaller wounds and bruises in his face and body. Aliana stormed across the stairs, and more and more stairs up the building. Leading to the last floor, she found a door leading outside the building, she opened and saw the man, atop the big tower of the College.... Aliana was now a few meters away from the mysterious man, and asked: "Why did you save me? And what are you doing? What do you want?"
The man had no words, however he took off his coat, showing his face to Aliana. The man had not short or long snow white hair, crimson red eyes, almost pale skin, and a red like scar of what looked like a tear dropping from both his eyes.... The figures' mouth was covered in a scarf and his eyes were almost blocked by the glasses he was wearing, being a lightly blueish color, and making his red eyes look less red.... He was carrying a book with him, when Aliana asked, and he took off his coat, he showed the book to Aliana and only said:
