They took a road to the left, the farthest one that lead to Hidana Cave. After a while walking, they suddenly heard some screams and hid behind some rocks and bushes around the place. "Is it happening? Right now!?" Aliana whispered, "Maybe, not sure, we should sneak around the place to avoid getting seen..." he hinted. "Screw that, not my style, let's get the guy and bag him up!" Cornelius whispered desperately "Wait, WAIT." Almost shouting. Aliana then entered the cave without any precautions whatsoever, while Cornelius was still sneaking around, to not get seen by anyone.... When they both entered, Aliana took the lead ignorantly and triggered a trap, making her hands hang from the top of the cave. "By the Gods..." Cornelius said as he rolled his eyes and took a short dagger to cut the ropes of her trap... Making Aliana fall to the ground. "Just follow me, with extreme caution, he is expecting people." He whispered while looking around, and subsequently helping Aliana getting up.
The cave was dark, filled with moss, and some pests, like rats and lots of types of insects. It also contained some places filled with two or three corpses, and some clothes, and guards' armors scattered throughout the floor, the stench was so immense, they had to cover their noses during the whole trail. The cave was also lit, and you could hear the movement of water deep within... "Look at all this people.... Maybe some Domesian guards came here to stop the demon.... The fools..." Aliana whispered as they came closer to a body of water, then a waterfall... In the bottom of the waterfall there was an opening, well lit... And it appeared to be the end of the cave, the water continued underground anyway.
In the opening, there was a wooden floor in which the water would flow directly under it, with some tables, food, golden coins, and some chairs, also a stone table, with a white mat over it; the setting was obvious... This place was the lair and the ritual chamber of the Daermorah (demon). When they scouted the place, they saw a woman being taken to the center of the altar. She was covered in white robes with blood stains all over it. And the figure who was taking the innocent lady to the altar, was inhumanly tall, with a bloody-like scar coming out of his eyes, going down to his jaw. Black nails, and hair, pale skin, and a black tunic in which he had a silver knife and a Porarose (type of rose) on his belt.
The ritual consisted of dark chants while the victim was on the table until he/she was unconscious, or in a trance state. Then, the Porarose would go in his/her chest, and then the silver knife would be stabbed right on top of the flower, and penetrating the body, killing her instantly and giving the essence of her soul to the demon, who had drug-like effects, or in other types of demons, could enhance its powers... In this case...
