Madison's POV :
I've been tweeting Ross for 5 hours straight now, I don't think he's ever gonna tweet back. I give up. I like Ross, but Rocky is my favorite. He's just so... I don't know. Its like he's perfect for me.
* Two hours later *
'Mom!'
"What sweetie?"
'Do you think R5 will ever tweet me?'
"Baby. You're crazy if you think any of them will ever tweet you, they probably think you're some stalker girl."
'Thanks Mom.' I said as I ran to my room crying.
I'll show her. I have complete faith in this.
I tweeted every member of R5 saying that my mom said I was crazy to think I'd ever get a tweet from them.
I sent the tweet and in less than a minute later I got a reply. I looked down at my phone and it said @rossr5 replied to your tweet "tell her crazy is a good thing."
Oh my gosh. I said as I stared at my phone. I ran to my mom and showed her.
' Hey mama?' I said in a curious tone.
"Yes?"
'Ross said crazy is a good thing' I smiled and walked away.
"What?" she asked in shock.
'Ross tweeted me, so you're wrong. You doubted me, and I proved you wrong'
She rolled her eyes and went back to her computer.
I thought to myself. So maybe If I ever meet him, I'll just say crazy is a good thing right?
My mom woke me up the next morning giving me good news.
"We're going to California"
WHAT? I say to myself, and then ask why.
"Because your father has gotten a job there. I don't know how long we'll be there, but its almost like we're moving."
Moving? Just the thought of moving away from my hometown frightened me. But the fact that we were moving to California made things a little better.
A Few Weeks Later...
I woke up, stretching. Realizing that today was the day... the day I move away from the only place I've ever known, the day everything changes.
I finished packing my last box after I brushed my teeth, did my hair and makeup, and got dressed. I just throw my hair in a messy bun and put on mascara. I had decided to wear jogging pants, pink converses, and my ACDC shirt.
I put all the boxes where they belong, walk around my house one last time, and say my goodbyes to all my friends and family.
As I got in the car tears began to roll down my face, but I suck it up and wave goodbye.
Good bye home. I'll be back one day. I promise.
I took about an hour nap on the way to the airport and as we arrived I felt the pain.
I missed my home already. It had finally hit me.
This is it. I'm moving all the way to California. Well. No turning back now. Here I go...
I got everything situated and then walk around a bit. I bought a muffin and some hot chocolate from a small coffee shop in the airport.
I then sit with my family and wait. I began to rub my fingers across a necklace that my best friend had given me. It was a puzzle piece that had "Buzz" engraved in it. She had the other piece which read "Woody". She gave it to me when I left earlier.
My eyes start to tear up again, but I quickly wipe them away so no one would notice.
"Flight 136 to California now boarding." I heard them say over the intercom.
Sadness grew on my face as I grab my carry on and proceed to board the plane.
I've never flown before, so I was pretty nervous.
I sit at the window, because I want to see the view, I hear its really beautiful. I watch as we pass over cities, and it was beautiful indeed, breathtaking actually. I listen to my music, R5 of course, and just drift away from reality ... I was in my own world now...
After many hours of flying, we finally land. I was so happy to get off.
Here I am. California. Wow. I thought I'd never be here.
I look around waiting on my parents, and I walk off. I'm just wondering around LAX... When my phone started playing 'I'm like that boom box outside of your window, I'm that de lorean blowin past 88', I look down to see all the text coming in from all my friends asking if I'd landed.
I was still walking, texting everyone back, notifying them that I had landed safely, when I bump into someone and drop my phone.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." said a deep, familiar sounding voice as they reach down and pick up my phone.
'Oh, its okay. Its my fault. I'm really sor-' I looked up stopping myself as I grab my phone from the huge hands.
Standing in front of me smiling wide is a beautiful brunette with hazel eyes.
'Rocky'. I whisper.
"Is something wrong?" he ask.
'Oh, its nothing' I say coming back to reality.
His voice was so deep and loving. I was at a loss for words.
'Well I guess I'll get going now. Sorry about bumping into you, I'll pay more attention next time' I say quickly, but as calmly as possible, turning away to walk back towards my family, when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Well. I'm Rocky, and I hope to see you again in the future maybe?" he said with a smile as he shook my hand.
'I'm Madison. and yes, that would be nice.' I smiled.
"Bye Madison!" he waved excitedly.
'Bye Rocky!' I giggled.
"Woah, wait!" I heard him say as I turn around.
'What is it?' I was really confused at this point.
"Maybe if you give me your number we could um... make plans sometime?"
'Yeah, that would make more sense.' I laugh as I type my number in his phone and he types his in mine.
"Thanks, see you later cutie" he says as he walks towards the rest of his family and Ellington.
What was that? Did I hear him say cutie? Wait. go back farther. Did I just talk to Rocky Lynch ... AND got his number? I could get use to this whole "California" thing. I smiled and walked towards my family.
First chapter! Hope you like it! it was pretty long because its the first one. but tell me what you think. Should I continue to write it? Next chapter will be Rocky's POV. (:
