Madison's POV:

About a month later...

I woke up to the smell of freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Yum. So I slid down the stairs and walked into the kitchen greeting my family with a yawn and a good morning.

'Good morning family.' I yawned, a smile evident on my face.

"Good morning." they chimed back.

"I see someone slept well." my dad laughed as he took a bite of his cinnamon roll.

'Indeed.' I laughed back as I placed two cinnamon rolls on my plate.

"It's because of that boy she's been hanging out with." my brother stated sounding annoyed.

'Oh shut it heifer.' I snapped.

"Hush you two. No arguing. This is a new house, we're in a new state, its a new day. Please don't argue all the time!" my mom pleaded.

'Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm not making any promises.' I laughed and rolled my eyes as I jumped up and sat on the counter, swinging my legs.

As we were all finishing up our breakfast, I spoke up, aside from the small talk that was going on.

'Hey mom? I'm going over to Rocky's later on. Is that alright with you?' I asked, putting on my sweetest smile and batting my eyelashes.

"That's fine honey. But since you're going out, can you pick up something for dinner tonight?" she replied, mimicking my sweetness.

'Yes mother.' I giggled, hopping off the counter, washing my plate and putting it away.

I walked up the stairs to my room, sat on my bed and checked my phone.

'Twitter, twitter, tumblr, twitter, Instagram, SnapChat, ahhh a message from Rocky.' I say to myself going through my phone.

Rocky: Good Morning beautiful. Sleep well? :)

Madison: Good Morning handsome. And yes, yes I did. Did you? (:

Rocky: Sure did.(: So what time you coming over today babe?

Madison: No idea. Whenever I get ready I guess. Is there any certain time I need to be over there?

Rocky: Nope. The band doesn't have practice today, so just come over whenever. (:

Madison: Okay babe. Getting ready now. See you in a few. (;

Rocky: I'll be waiting. (;

I finished going through my notifications and messages, and then sat on my bed for a few minutes.

I looked around at my room.. it still looked ... well... empty. So I turned to face my wall, grabbed some chalk and let my imagination run wild.

I drew a few things here and there, and then realized I had to start getting ready. Ugh.

I slid on some comfy ripped jeans, a large grey jumper that had different music tapes all over it, and my lime green lowtop converses. I just threw my hair up into a messy bun, and did light makeup. Then I texted Rocky that I was on my way, grabbed my keys and wallet, and I was out the door.

On the way to Rocky's I decided I'd make a quick Starbucks run.

Hello birthday cake pop, and vanilla bean frappé with chocolate drizzle!

I ordered just that, and decided I'd order Rocky the same. Maybe he'd like it ... if not, hey I'd be delighted to drink it!

I sang along with the radio and sipped my frappé on the short drive to Rocky's.
