Chapter 17

Rocky's POV:

I woke up that next morning and reached over to wake up Madison, but she was gone.

I heard coughing coming from the bathroom, so I went to check things out.

'Babe?' I ask, stepping into the doorway, but only to find Madison laying on the floor.

I rush to her side and shake her, making sure she's okay.

"Huh, uh why am I on the floor?" she ask, sitting up and facing me.

'I don't know. I woke up this morning, and found you in here... Are you okay?' I asked with a worried look in my eyes.

Madison clenched her teeth, and gripped her pillow. She looked as if she were in a world of pain.

'Baby? Babe? What's wrong? Are you okay? Please tell me what's wrong.' I plead.

"Uhhhh." she moans, then collapses on the floor.

'MOM! DAD! Get in here now! Something's wrong with Madison!' I yell, and within seconds just about everyone was at the door.

"What happened?" Mom asked me, as she feels Madison, checking for temperature or something.

'I really don't know, I woke up this morning, and she was gone. Then I heard coughing, found her in here, and she woke up, clenched her teeth, moaned, and passed out.' I stated, shifting my eyes from her, and looked up to my mom.

"We should get her to a doctor." Dad said, lifting her up, and handing her over to me.

I carry her in my arms, and lay her in the back with Rydel and Eyrin.

I looked at her pale face, and how her head was resting in Rydel's lap, and feet in Eyrin's.

I closed the back door, and got into the driver seat.

Mom and Dad hopped into their car, and followed us to the hospital.

We told Riker, Ross, Ell, and Ryland to stay at the house, and we'd call them when we thought it was okay.

As we entered the hospital doors, they took Madison from my arms, and rushed her to the back.

Mom, Dad, Rydel, Eyrin, and I all sat in the waiting area, worried sick.

I sat on the couch, next to Rydel, with my legs crossed, my head down, my hand on my forehead, and I was shaking my leg.

Rydel placed a hand on my back reassuringly, and gave me a faint smile.

'I don't know what to do. I'm terrified. I can't lose her.' I say, tears forming in the corners of my eyes.

"She'll be fine. Just calm down. You know she wouldn't want to see you like this."

'She looked like she was in so much pain, Delly. When she looked up at me, I could see the pain in her eyes.' I say, looking away from Rydel, and running my fingers through my hair.

"Rocky, look at me. I know you love her, and I know you're worried. Just please." She stated, nodding once, and I knew exactly what she meant.

'Okay. You're Right. I'll just try to stay calm.' I say, taking a deep breath.

"Madison Rogers Family?" the nurse called.

'That's us.' mom said, standing up walking over to the nurse, dad following behind.

Riker, Ross, Ryland, Ell, And Madison's parents came running in the door, and took a seat in the waiting area.

Ross, sat next to Eyrin. Both of them with the look of concern written all over their faces. As well as everyone else in the room.

Ell had joined Rydel and I on the couch, and held her hand tightly, while patting me on the back.

Mom and Dad came walking back towards us, and told me to come back first.

I stood up with caution, preparing myself for whatever was waiting for me in that room...

There you go guys! Sorry I haven't updated in forever! Its been so long, too long actually. but I had a 7 hour drive back from Florida, so I thought ... why not? It's pretty short, but it's something. I'm writing the next chapter already, I just wanted to let you guys know im still here, and give you a little something to feed off of before I post the next chapter.
