I groaned but continued walking. There were six steps, and then a turn, then another six steps. It was kind of dark up here, but I could see enough to walk. There were only a set of skylights that were bringing in light. I saw a door in front of me, so naturally, I walked towards it. There was a giant bedroom, as well as a bathroom and closet. It only had one giant window. I walked out of it, and saw another door. I walked through it. Dark. It was probably a storage compartment. I walked out of it, and down the two flights of stairs I took to get up to the attic. I walked to the far right corner of the house, of you look at it from when you walk in, and opened the door which led to a spiral staircase.

Better now than never. I leaned my crutches on the wall next to me and started walking down the set of stairs. Nothing special. I was empty other than a bar and two rooms. I carefully walked, without my crutches, to the first door. It was a bathroom. Great. I walked out of the room and walked to the next one. It was a movie room. The lights were still on, so I figured someone was down here already. I turned the light off and walked up the stairs. It was hard, but not impossible.

Everyone was there by the time I got up from the basement, deep in conversation. I grabbed my crutches and walked over to them.

"There she is!" Max said. "We were wondering when you were gonna get here."

"This is Shelby." Ross said pointing to me. "Shelby, this is Cory and Tim."

One said that they were Tim. While the other said that they were Cory. I nodded.

We ended up talking for a little while until we realized the sun was down.

"We should probably leave." Ross said.

"Let's get food!" Tim said.

Everyone agreed and went to our cars. We agreed to follow Tim and Cory to Carrabba's. And with that, we left.
