After sending numerous letters that are tedious to reread, (actually the author is just really lazy and doesn't want to write 50 letters) Wirt is extremely worried about the wellbeing of his friends, and as the summer is nearing its end, he wonders if they will return and just be done with his clingy-ness, or maybe they won't come back at all. However, the on the final day of summer, a bus pulls to a bus stop down the road a bit. Wirt takes Greg outside and he runs to the bus stop. When Wirt catches up, his eager brother runs past him, chasing a pig. Mabel appears soon after, running the same direction. Wirt is startled, to say the least, and he puts his hands up instinctively. He is soon approached by Dipper.

"Hi"

Wirt jumps in surprise at someone speaking to him after just being almost attacked by the chasers of a pig on the run. He was also surprised that that was a thing that could be happening.

"O-oh hey Dipper..." Wirt says. When he has begun to recollect his thoughts, he furrows his brow and says, "Why didn't you respond to my letters!?"

Dipper raises his eyebrows questioningly, "Huh?"

"I sent you a whole bunch of letters and you never responded!"

Dipper has an 'oooohh' moment, and explains, "Oh jeez, I'm so sorry! I never got those letters, there was an apocalypse right before we left, it was really terrible."

"There was a what now."

Dipper sighs and puts his arm around Wirt's back. Pulling him to his house, he says, "Hold on, I'll tell you everything once we're all moved back in."

And so he did. What, did you expect me to tell the entire story of how Bill attempted to take over the world? Haha how about no. Anyway, back to the story.

"Then we showed up here and Waddles ran out of the bus," Dipper finished.

Wirt sat listening, wide eyed. He cocks one eyebrow and says, "Uh...Illuminati anyone?"

The twins look at Wirt. Then at each other. Then at Wirt again.

Greg said, "What's 'Illuminati'?"

The looks between them intensify.

"Uhhhhh-" Dipper was at a loss for words.

"Well, they're-" Mabel began.

"IT'S A TEENAGER JOKE DON'T TELL MOM SHE WON'T GET IT." Wirt said frantically.

"Ok," Greg said, holding his frog. "Jason Funderburker, meet Waddles. You guys will be the best buddies! Waddles, I invite you to listen to Wirt's tapes with us even though he told us not to and..." He continues to say things that are not a-ok.

"WHAT"

Mabel and Dipper are laughing. Wirt is a tomato and is attempting to catch Greg, who is running away with his frog, also laughing.

Dipper says, "Haha, well, I guess everything is back to normal now."

"Yeah, you're back!" Wirt exclaims, but he is actually thinking that nothing will ever be normal again.

Dipper was thinking this too, but for different reasons.

Wirt likes Dipper ok, that's what this is.
