Why do I have to go to school!? Mystical thought over and over again. She didn't know why her parents couldn't just homeschool her. But her mother wanted her too. And all Mystical wanted to do was please her mother. She saw the mountain where dragons were flying in, out, and around it. She noticed the rainwings around her were starting to display their scales in arrays of elegant colors. Mystical just kept her scales black with fading blue all the way around. She was lucky that her emotions didn't control her scales. Her own mind did. They landed and scrolls were passed to them. One with their winglet, one a map, and one was her schedule. In her winglet was:

Riverstream: Seawing
Mystical: Rainwing
Shadowfrost: Nightwing
Snowrey: Icewing
Muddle: Mudwing
Firesky: Skywing
Sandstorm: Sandwing

She recognized Riverstream, Tsunami's and Riptide' s daughter, but she didn't recognize the rest. Turns out she was in Jade Winglet. She didn't look at her schedule because she had two days to herself. She turned to her father.

"Dad I'm scared." That was all she said. Deathbringer pulled her close using his wings.

"Don't worry my little flower. You'll do great. I love you."

"I love you too." Mystical watched her father fly back to the Rainwing forest before she turned.

She was given directions and she walked to her sleeping cave. Using a trick Moonwatcher had told her she walked along side her slipping minds into cricket noises, her favorite sound, and the headache eased away. They entered her sleeping cave. Moon stopped in her tracks. As did Mystical, alarmed of her friend's actions. Moon smiled and tears came to her eyes.

"This was my sleeping cave when I went here." Was all she said. Mystical smiled and sauntered over to the different beds. There were two that caught her eyes. One that was plain rock with moss on it and one that had palm leaves on it. Then three dragonets walked in. A skywing, a mudwing, and a sandwing. Her winglet. Their words quieted at the sight of her. Moonwatcher seemed uncomfortable.

"Well I'll leave you all to get to know each other. Have fun Mystical!" And with that Moonwatcher fled the room. Mystical turned to the others.

"Hi." She said shyly. She turned her head down, for the three dragonets were boys, and their thoughts were amusing.

Oooh, she's pretty.

I think she's a rainwing but she looks like a Nightwing.

She seems nice.

"Welcome to our winglet. You must be Mystical, right?" The Sandwing said. Mystical turned her face back up and nodded. "Cool! Well I'm Sandstorm, fire face over here," He said pointing to the skywing, "is Firesky, and this is Muddle." The mudwing happily waved and she waved back. Then a familiar seawing walked in.

"Riverstream!" Mystical shrieked. River whipped her head around then galloped to her. Crushing Mystical she hugged her tight. The boys chuckled and River turned to them.

"Now you listen here boys." She said a stood taller, almost matching the hight of the sandwing, the tallest one. "You are in the presence of a princess, two in fact. So you better treat Mystical rightly or so help me I will send you back to where you came from." The boys nodded and bowed down. Mystical was giggling like crazy, earning a look from the sandwing.

She thinks this is funny huh? Well let's see how hard she can laugh.

"Yes oh great and powerful princess. Please forgive us for doing you wrong." Sandstorm said in a deep voice. That set Mystical over the edge. She was now belly laughing as were the others.

"Ok well I'm gonna go walk around for a bit." The others nodded but continued laughing. She strode out into the crowded hallway making a mental map of the school. She reached the art cave and peeked in. Empty. The hallway she was in was deserted since it was a ways from the main hallway. She ducked into the art cave. Choosing a mid-size canvas and some brushes and paint she went to an easel. Setting her stuff down she began to paint. First lines then shapes. After a bit she stood back, admiring her work. Blues and greens swirled together with yellows and whites. She had a made a hill and on top was a few trees. There was one moon but many stars. She set it over by the drying rack. She hadn't any paint on her so she walked out of the room. Then she felt something, almost darkness enter her mind. She stopped, glad there was no one around, and puzzled over this strange feeling. Then she heard whispers. Not from anything else, but from her head. First they were quiet and she couldn't make out the words then they got louder. She listened to the voices but the more she tried to focus on one, it would disappear. Then there was one clear and deep voice that startled Mystical, one that she hoped she wouldn't hear. One that Moonwatcher had spoke about in stories for her. All that was said was,

Hello little mindreader. I am Darkstalker.

A/N Woohoo! That was long. I'll update soon so don't flip!
