Chapter 6: Just This One

ANDIE'S POV

I groaned and turned to my side. My head is killing me. My body is also sore. I feel so tired.

Wait.

This isn't my room. I don't remember my room having a blue wall and most of all I don't think my room, like ever, smelled of alcohol.

I'm really not in my room. I don't remember crashing here. And I don't even remember who owns this room.

Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!

I got out of the bed. I checked if all my stuff are still here. Thank God, there's nothing missing.

I walked up to the mirror beside the cabinet. The image before me was shocking, kind of. I mean I usually look like this but this is worse.

I've got a little bruise on my face. My lip is busted. My hair is a mess. All you needed is a bird on top and you'll assume that it's a nest. My clothes were the same clothes as last night. That's a good thing tho. I don't want to wake up and find myself naked with some random stranger in bed. I might strangle that guy if that ever happened. And of course, I smell bad. Like so bad.

I combed my hair using my fingers. After making sure that I'm a bit decent, I decided to go downstairs. I bet whoever owns this house is cleaning right now.

"Hey!" Ken emerged from the living room carrying a trash bag with him. Oh yes! He had the house all to himself since his parents went to Malibu. And like every normal teenager, he threw a huge party.

"Hello!" My voice sounded so sleepy. I need water. I think Ken noticed as well because he invited me to the kitchen.

The house was quite clean already. Ken passed me a mug of hot chocolate. I gladly accepted it. I really need one. I took a sip and it was heavenly.

"So are you okay?" He asked. I'm sure he's asking about my bruise.

"Yeah. But I don't remember how I got it."

"I don't really know what happened as well. But I remember you pulling the hair of some random chick." He chuckled. Oh! Typical me. "She almost got the upper hand but you recovered quick." Too bad I don't remember anything but I'm sure I gave everyone a good show last night.

I finished my mug and I think it's time for me to leave. I've been here all night. For sure my father and brother will be giving me a pep talk later for not coming home.

"Thank you for letting me stay and sleep in your bedroom." I smiled sheepishly.

"Anytime Andie. What are friends are for!" I softly punched his arm.

I got of the house and saw that my baby was still in piece. I circled my bike, checking for any damage. I sighed in relief when I didn't find any scratch. I climbed to my bike then Ken waved and I did the same before I put on my helmet. I revved the engine and sped off.

***

This is weird! Super weird. I haven't heard from my father or even from my brother. They used to call or talk to me about spending the night out. I mean, I don't really mind them not scolding me but I... This is just so weird.

I opened the door to my brother's flat. He almost dropped his bread when I entered. He looked like he had seen a ghost. I showed him my keys to his apartment so that he'll know that I didn't break the lock. He just sat there and continued eating. What the hell!

"Quit staring!" He looked up and raised an eyebrow.

"What's your problem?" I snapped.

"What?" He gave me a confused look. Well at least I'm not the only one who's confused right now.
