It didn't take long for people to find them out. The usual muttering in the Skyhold throne room more giddy than usual. Eyes drifting to Adaar more often than usual. This would go on for several weeks. "There is not one of our allies that has not pledge full support of our relationship!" She recalled Josephine stating in response to Adaar's concerns.

Surely enough the inquisitor's inner circle would congratulate her on their next conversation outside of combat. Dorian, Sera and Bull were probably the most congratulatory. Cassandra and Blackwall being more or so a bit confused at first, most everyone else not talking much of it. Suspiciously enough afterwards, Leliana and Varric had been acting quite differently around her and Josephine. Leliana seemed to interrogate the qunari mage at every corner they met on how things were between her and Josephine, Varric would do the same but being much more friendlier as well as more thorough about it. The spy master obviously wanted to make sure her friend was in good hands but the dwarf's motivation was not as clear.

Josephine and the Herald had discussed the issues of actually going on dates. Lady Montilyet said that they may need some sort of protection to be brought along with them but the Inquisitor assured that her magic would be enough to suppress any assassination attempts and that most areas that would make suitable spots were usually under protection by local guards anyways. With their safety most likely ensured, the two actually began to schedule a date at a high class restaurant in Ferelden. It was no Orlais but Adaar felt it may've been awkward or down right impossible to do so there due to the history of the Montelyet family there.

Shortly after, the inquisitor traveled to the undercroft, consulting Harritt on her outfit for the occasion. "Ah well, I guess I can whip up one of those fancy outfits from that ball you went to, armor is so much more fun but, this is a date not a duel." He said, sorting through the available resources and patterns. "Shouldn't take quite long, I'm no fashion designer but I also consider myself something of a perfectionist when it comes to craftsmanship." Soon enough afterwards, the inquisitor received a familiar looking double breasted coat with with epaulettes, gloves and a set of  trousers and knee high boots to match. The color of the coat different this time,  being a regal shade of violet-maroon instead of the bright red worn on that day in the winter palace.

Adaar tried the fanciful garb on and looked in the mirror, the fit was better as well, this was expected that this was made by someone who had the specific person in mind that had been smithing armor for said person since they've met. The color brought out her eyes as well. Adaar sighed with relief and studied herself in the mirror. For once, things had been going right for her.
