Chapter 8

Once I got into the kitchen I noticed miss Dolan wasn't in there so I walked over to the back door and found her stood by the pool.

Before I opened the door I needed to think of something to say before I just asked for some money.

Make an excuse because I know she won't just let me go to Jordan's.

Maybe I could just say I'm going to the cinemas, yes I'll say that.

I opened the back door and as soon as I stepped outside she turned around.

"Is everything ok sweetie" I nodded then headed over to where she was stood.

"Miss dol-" just before I could finished she cut in "Scarlett love just call me Lisa" I nodded then carried on.

"Lisa I know it sounds cheeky but you said if I need anything to just ask" she nodded "well there's this movie that I've been wanting to see for a while and I was wondering could I borrow some money for the bus and cinema ticket" I looked her in the eyes and she smiled.

"Oh Scarlett it's not cheeky at all, I told you to just ask so yes I'll just go get my peruse, do you want me to take you" I shook my head then followed her inside.

She pulled out her peruse from her hand bag and started rummaging threw it "who's going with you" I shrugged my shoulders "no one, I enjoy going alone" she nodded "OK as long as your safe ok" she gave me the money and I headed straight for the door.

I grabbed hold of my backpack, skateboard then slipped my shoes on and headed down the streets.

I don't really know where the bus stop is but I'll find my way around.

I turned a corner and spotted a bus stop in the distance "jackpot" I said to my self.

I looked at the bus timetable and the first stop was where I exactly wanted to go.

The bus came about 10 minutes after.

I paid for my ticket then sat down, I didn't get a return because it's cheaper to get a single there and back.

The bus journey was really boring and bumpy but I finally got there and to my surprise it stopped right across the road from Jordan's apartment.

I didn't need to knock the main door because that's always unlocked I just had to walk up a flight of stairs and knock on his door.

I knocked lightly and instantly the door swung open "Scarlett" he pulled me into a hug and shut the door behind us.

"God dammit Scarlett never do that to me again" he said whilst we were still in a hug.

I giggled then pulled away "sorry, there's a lot that's happened the last 2 days" he nodded then sat down on the couch.

I sat down next to him and he instantly put his arm around my shoulders and pulled my head to his shoulders.

"I've missed you" I giggled then started telling him what's happened and explained that I had to lie so I could get here.

"So their nice then" I nodded then lifted my head up from his shoulders.

"Want a drink" He asked as he was heading into try kitchen "yes please" he came back seconds later with 2 cans and started laughing.

"Why you laughing?" He handed me a can and sat back down again "you with your manners" I nudged him just as he was taking a sip from his drink.

"Ahh" we both giggled then he wiped his mouth "anyway you've come on a good day" I frowned and looked up at him "it's like you know when I'm having a party" I rolled my eyes then shook my head.

"Jordan I can't stay" He looked up from rolling his fag "you always stay" I sighed as he handed me a fag "yeah but I don't want to fuck it up" He laughed then handed me the lighter.

"Oh come on Scarlett just stay for a drink or 2" I sighed then passed him the fag "Jordan I can't you know damn well I won't go once I've had one" he took a drag of the fag then put it down.

He grabbed hold of my hands and made me look at him "Scarlett you gave me a heart attack the other day when you didn't come back and tell me, so the least you can do is stay for a drink or 2 and I'll stop you" I sighed then nodded my head "fine I'll stay for one" he nodded then pulled me into a hug.

-----------------later on that night------------

It was about 7.30 when people started coming into Jordan's and obviously that John turned up.

I just stayed in the kitchen by the sink.

I didn't really want to face him but I know he'll come in here to get a drink but I'll just face the sink when he walks in.

And I'm most definitely not talking to anyone other then Jordan from this party because I'll only end up in the pickle I was in last time.

As soon as I looked up from the drinks I noticed John walking into the kitchen with a few of his friends, he noticed me obviously.

So I just stayed where I was standing and looked down at my feet.

"Scarlett" I looked up and there stood John and his friend I punched last time "oh nice to see you" I nodded then tried to walk away.

"Wait we need to talk" I sighed then turned around "what is there possibly you could say, I get it you fucked up and it was a bet" He frowned.

"Scarlett don't be like that I apologise, it's Hayes here that needs to apologise because it was his fold, he rowen your night" I rolled my eyes then looked over at the drinks.

"Well I don't really want to hear it, I get it your sorry but the best thing you can do is pass me 2 of them cans, 2 shots and leave me alone" Hayes nodded then did as I said.

I didn't bother saying thanks I just downed both shots then walked out with the cans.

I got to where Jordan was with his mates, I only know one of them, I think his names Taylor.

"How many have you had" I ignored him and took a swig "Scarlett don't ignore me" he grabbed the drink from my hands but I just opened the other one.

"Scarlett" I pulled the drink away from my mouth and sighed "I don't care how many Ive have I need it" I then downed the rest of the can.

"Here you go" he handed me back my other can and a fag.

I finished off the drink and the fag then went back into the kitchen to get more.
