Chapter 13

We skated for a little while and they were all impressed that I could actually skate.

To be honest with you I actually can't skate but I just pretend I know what I'm doing.

They've laughed at me a few times considering I've fell over a good 10 times, I'm just a clumsy child.

We eventually decided to head to the basketball court, I've never been this far into town so I don't know what's down here.

When we got there I just froze, I honestly didn't know what to do with myself.

"Scarlett you ok" Grayson waved his hand in front of my face trying to snap be back into reality "Scarlett" he nudged me and that brought me back.

"Oh sorry" I went over to the middle where everyone was.

"Scarlett can we talk" Grayson asked I just nodded and followed him over to where our skateboards and bags were.

"Yeah?" I said confused.

"Are you ok" he asked putting his hands on my shoulders.

"Yeah just seen something" He frowned "what over there" he pointed behind me to a group of lads.

I don't know whether to say it's Jordan and John or to tell a lie.

"Scarlett?" He clicked his fingers "do you mind" I pulled away and ran back to everyone else.

Grayson's PoV

Scarlett is so pretty and funny, I honestly never realised how funny she was until today.

All the lads like her, Ethan not so much but he'll be ok he'll have to be because he lives with her now.

I don't really like her brother though he's horrible to her and if he dear lays a finger on Cameron he'll have me go deal with.

I really want to tell Scarlett but I cant just yet she's going threw enough.

When we got to the basketball court I thought Scarlett would of been the first one on the court but she just froze.

What has she seen?

Has this brought back memories?

I nudged her and waved my hand in front of her face to try get her attention but nothing.

Then eventually I got her attention and she followed me over the other end of the court.

She was really off like is she hiding something?

There were other people on the court but I've never seen them before.

We were half way threw our game when the other people came over and asked if we wanted to play against them, I was ok with it but Scarlett was fast to say no.

What is the matter with her?

"Scarlett" one of the lads said, now I'm confused.

"Scarlett don't ignore me" he grabbed hold of her shoulder and when she turned around she punched him.

Well she's got a good right hook I'll give her that one.

"Wow Scarlett" I grabbed hold of her wrist and pulled her aside.

Scarlett's PoV

Obviously Jordan had to come over and disturb our perfect game.

I didn't want them guys meeting him at all.

"Scarlett" he said but I ignored him and grabbed hold of the ball ready to shoot.

"Scarlett don't ignore me" he grabbed hold of my shoulder, I just swung for him.

I didn't know what came over me normally I would of dived on him and give him the biggest hug ever but this time I just hit him.

And he know what my swings are like, I so hope he's ok.

Grayson grabbed hold of my wrist and pulled me aside.

Oh here comes all the questions and to be honest with you if he starts asking questions I'm skating home alone.

"What just happened" here it comes "I don't know" He rolled his eyes and put his hands on my shoulders.

"Scarlett you can't just go around hitting people" what the fuck he touched me I'm sure it's ok to punch someone that touched me.

Yeah I know Jordan but I can't act like I know him.

"Scarlett go apologise and just say he scared you" he can fuck off.

"Grayson you won't understand" I pulled away grabbed my skateboard and bag then went over to where we were before.

"Sorry guys nice meeting you but I've got to get home, homework to do" I gave them all a hug then turned to Jordan and mouthed 'sorry' but he just smiled and winked.

See that's what I love about Jordan he always understands.

I'll have to lie again and go back to his to apologise properly, a special sorry.

Grayson tried to stop me from leaving and to my surprise Ethan tried to stop me to but I just ignore them bother and skated as fast as I could down the street without falling over.

When I got home miss Dolan gave me a questioned look but I just ignored the look and shot upstairs.

I'm hoping she doesn't come upstairs and ask questions.

I was sat upstairs for a good 20-30 minutes before they all decided to come back from the basketball court.

Grayson popped his head around to see if I was ok but I pretended to be asleep.

Even though I'm really thirsty I'm just waiting from everyone to go bed so I can go get a drink and get changed.

When I was waiting I could hear Grayson and Ethan explaining to Brody and Cameron what happened.

I'm surprised miss Dolan hasn't asked yet but she's either going to find out tonight or ask me tomorrow.

It's Sunday tomorrow  so I'm guessing my Sunday's going to be spend explaining stuff.

The house hold went all silent so I thought this was the perfect opportunity to head down for a drink.

I was just about to walk past the games room when someone grabbed me from behind covering my mouth so I couldn't scream.

"Grayson" I said when he turned me around and turned the light on.
