Chapter 15

Scarlett's PoV

The room went really quite it was an awkward silent though, I didn't know where to start.

"You don't have to say anything" Grayson finally spoke up but I shook my head.

"No I want to tell you, I need someone to open up to, I'm just scared you won't like me much afterwards and I don't know where to start" I sighed then looked down at the floor.

He shifted a little bit then lifted my chin up with his hand "don't be scared, just start where ever you want" I new I was going bright red.

"Ok" i pulled my hands away from Grayson hand and just started fiddling with with ring on my finger "it all started 4 years ago when my dad started becoming depressed and really ill, we thought he had cancer but luckily it was just  a lung infection, they gave him tablets for it but they said they can never get rid of it so he will be on tablets for life

But that didn't help his depression, it made it worse" I froze and remember the first day he went on them.

"My mum tried to look after him but she just ended up giving up because she had to look after my dad and my 2 twin sisters, thankfully I was old enough to look after myself and we had Brody" I sighed then started shifting my feet around.

"It's ok I'm here" Grayson said whilst rubbing my back lightly.

"But one day I woke up and she was gone, no mum, no sisters just me, Brody and dad but Brody was no help because he was going threw his exams in school so he couldn't do much so it was all down to me

I did my everything but it took its told so one day I was out with my friend Jess, she wasn't my best friend but she was the only person I had and she was there for me when I started getting bullied because of my dad" I stopped and took a deep breath.

"We were just out and about, I was doing some drugs, just weed and some times heroine, only at house party's but Jess found another drug and I was curious, so little naive me decide I wanted a try so we went to a house party, don't know who the person was or anyone there other then Jess and her cousin

Everything was going perfectly fine, I met jesses new drug dealer he was a bit scary at first but I warmed up to him, not to much with the other lot" I looked up ahead of me just to clear the tears that we're building up in my eyes.

"It's ok you don't need to carry on" Grayson still had his hand on my back "no I want to tell you everything" I sighed then rubbed my eyes.

"The party was going perfectly fine until I took a drink from one of the guys at the party, his name was Taylor, when I took a sip of the drink I new straight away it was vodka straight because I've had it before, but what I didn't know was he drugged it with something I've never had before

I didn't know what was going on, my whole body just started shutting down, my legs started going really weak and my eyes started closing, Jess was no where in sight and just before my eyesight went fully I felt someone grab hold of me and drag me somewhere" I took in a deep breath then looked at Grayson.

"Right promise you'll never tell Brody this" he nodded "I didn't know what was going on because obviously he drugged me, all I could see was someone face, it looked formula but I couldn't quit see it properly

When I woke up the next day I felt a sharp pain down ther-" I got cut off by Grayson "he didn't" I nodded then looked away.

"I just cried, not knowing what's just happened I tried to get up but I couldn't move, when the pain slowly started going away I decided that would be the best time to try leave but someone pushed me back onto the bed again and told me to stay lying down

So I listen not know what he would do to me if I didn't listen, but he actually help me out, we became really close friends and that's who that was at the basketball court yesterday" I took in another deep breath then looked down at my sweaty hands.

"Wow that's a lot" I looked up at him and his eyes brows were raised "that's not it" his eye brows went from raised to frowned as soon as I said that.

"After that night I went back home and found out my dad was in a bad straight and Brody was nowhere to be seen so i was getting really worried, I didn't know how to help my dad other then turn all the lights off, give him his tablets and lock him in his room because he's hurt me once before

When Brody finally came home, he had a girl with him and I got told to get out the house, so the only place I new was jesses, when I got there I wanted to slap her, she was sleeping with the guy that drugged me, I was going threw all this shit at school and my only friend was sleeping with that scum back" I paused because my eyesight started getting really blurry.

The room went silent again and Grayson's  hand was no longer on my back it was now on my left thigh.

I looked down at his hand and sighed "I tried to leave jesses house but Taylor decided to drag me back into the house and pin me against the wall, bearing in mind my so called friend was stood there not only watching him do this but she as recording it" Grayson sighed making me look up at him, he had a shocked look on his face.

"Yes he did it again, I couldn't fight back I just froze, was this her plan all along, once he was done he just let me go and I just slid down the wall, I wanted to cry and curl up in a ball but I just couldn't move, Jess just stood there laughing at me

When I finally started to come back to reality I got up and shot down the road to the next best place, Jordan's, the guy from the park" I couldn't hold back the tears anymore I just let them all out.

Grayson noticed because he pulled me into a side hug and rubbed my side "it's ok I'm here" I hate remembering my past.

I've still got a lot to tell him but I just don't think I can tell him the rest.
