Chapter 12

Scarlett's PoV

It's been a week since me and Grayson were sat in the game room messing around.

We haven't spoken about it at all.

Me and Grayson have become really close though, we do quit a lot together when he's not with his girlfriend.

He's been really distant with her the last week.

And talking about distant Brody and Ethan haven't even spoken to me once, I understand why Brody hasn't spoken to me but Ethan.

What have I done to him to make him ignore me, I've tried to speak to him but every time I try he just ignores me or doesn't even establish I'm in the room let alone the house.

I understand why my brothers ignores me, he always does when I got to Jordan's I'm use to it by know he'll soon be talking to me in no time.

He is just an idiot brother that is trying to be an over protective brother and it doesn't work because I never listen so he gets cross.

I wish he didn't but that's what brothers are for, you fall out but then make up again, he's bound to be ok with me one day next week, he'll probably need some advise or help with something.

I've noticed Brody and Cameron have been getting really close lately and what I've heard he's split up with his stuck up girlfriend.

Which I'm glad because she use to hate me especially when I wouldn't let her in the house to see Brody, I don't see why she should be aloud in the house when my dad was ill.

Today I'm suppose to be going pennyboarding with Grayson, Ethan and a few of their friends from school.

I've seen what they look like but I've never actually spoken to them and I have no clue what their names are so let's hope they aren't judgmental.

I honestly have no clue what to wear because when I last went shopping with Miss Dolan I picked out some skater stuff because I'm not really a girly girl anyway but I don't know whether to wear that sort of stuff or wear something more girly.

I don't really want to come across as a tramp to the twins friends but I don't want to be all dolled up.

Even though I'll probably come across as a tramp anyway because my faded blue hair.

We're not going till later on tonight so I've got a good few hours.

I climbed out of bed and headed downstairs for lunch, I've been lying in bed all morning just reading a book that I found in the games room.

I spotted it when me and Grayson were playing the other day but I didn't want to just walk over to it and take it so i waited till no one was in the room and took it.

It's pretty good but I'm no where near the end, I'm a very slow reader and this book is massive, I think it's got over 500 pages so it's about the same size as one of the Harry Potter books but a bit bigger.

It's definitely something Grayson would read because he likes scary sort of books considering I've seen him reading a scary one the other day.

He's just like me a very slow reader and considering I've only seen him read once or twice this week he's further then me and he only bought it the other day.

I'm hoping he finishes it before I finish the one I'm reading know or I'm going to have nothing to read once I've finished this one.

If he isn't I'm just going to rob it from his room or swop them over hopefully he'll never know.

I headed downstairs and there sat Brody and Cameron as usual giggling sitting really close to each other.

I'm most probably just looking into it to much but by the look on Brody's face he really likes her, i haven't seen him this happy since my mum left.

"Afternoon lazy" Brody said as I walked past them both "oh so know you talk to me" I looked at Brody gave them both a dig then walked into the kitchen.

"Oh finally decided to crawl out your pit then" Grayson said as I walked towards the fridge.

"Oh shut up says you" I nudge him then climbed onto the counter next to the sink.

"Mum won't be happy with you sat there" he pulled me off the counter and obviously I landed right on top of him.

"Oh I'm sorry" I stood up then shot straight back upstairs with the a bottle of water.

When I got up to the room all I wanted to do was read but I don't want to because I know I'm going to get a lot of boring days so I'm going to need the book for them days and I need to start getting ready.

I decided to go get a shower so I don't smell later on, it's not that I smell it's just the thought of going out with a load of lads I've never met before.

Once I was done in the shower I brushed my teeth then shoved my horrible blue hair up in a messy bun then changed my stretcher to a sugar skull one.

I went back into my bedroom and looked through my little closet for something to wear.

I settled on black high waisted ripped jeans, black and white long sleeved t-shirt with 'DRUNK ON BOOKS' in big capital letters across the front, my new denim jacket/coat, when I seen it I was obsessed.

I put on my skater low black and white vans, grabbed my glasses and my empty backpack then grabbed my penny board and went back downstairs.

As soon as I got down to the living room I looked down at the floor not paying any attention to any of them looking at me.

"You ready" I looked up and there stood Grayson "yeah" I nodded then walked towards the door before everyone else.

I still don't know any of them and there's a few new faces.
