I was in the kitchen wondering around what to look after for breakfast since Zari was still asleep. Maybe toast bread with jam would do. I thought to myself. It was hard to decide what to prepare since I wasn't the only one now living here. Usually I would just have some crackers with coffee or just something simple, but with my lil sis here I wanted to give her something more. I looked around in the cabinets and they were almost empty I sighed and closed them. I heard footsteps coming towards the kitchen I thanked God my sister way now up. With her presence I would be able to prepare something for us to eat.

"Hey, good morning "      Zorian spoke and sat on one of the bar stool around the counter.

"Morning boo. I was wondering what you would like for breakfast".

"Oh.. Um.. How about some cereal and bread sticks"

"Ahright, cereal and bread sticks it is"

I washed my hands under the sink before handling anything. Zori had already placed everything I needed on the counter. While she cut the slices of breads into strips I whisked  two eggs, in another small bowl I added some milk while in another was some breadcrumbs. When I was through I place the pot on the stove top and lit the stove and waited for the oil to be heated.
When it was hot enough I remove the bread from one of the bowls and placed them in the pot to fry. Couple minutes later we were now around the dining table eating of course we said our grace.

" damn sis I miss you so much. Its been years since you left. "    Zorian said while stuffing her mouth with cereal.

" can I tell you. Damn. Its been rough tho. But thank God for turning my life around"   I laughed a little before speaking again " so how's home?"

" it was okay. But not the same without you. Mom still sew clothes and help around with the church, dad... He doesn't have a stable job. He would often take whatever was thrown at him just to help provide and schooling me"

" I'll go visi-"

I got cut off by the crying of Zari. I quickly excused myself from the table and hurried to my bedroom. She was sitting up in the center of the bed crying while rubbing her eyes.
