I woke up from the bright sun beam paste to my face, I sat up in the bed rubbing my eyes soon opening them. Zorian had moved the curtains and the sunlight was coming through the window. I looked around and saw mom, dad, Zari, Ashley, Jacky, Chris, my Aunt, and Romeo who had a tray in his hand. They were all grinning and it felt strange and weird.
"Why y'all up in here"
"HAPPPYY BIRTHDAAAYYY!!! " they all shouted at once. I held on to my chest because I almost forgot today was my birthday. I throw the covers off and got up out of bed giving them individual hugs and saying thank you. I looked around a bit not making it obvious though. I was looking to see if August showed up. After finally telling him that what we had going on couldn't continue because I was now engage he was pretty much mad and upset. Words were thrown after words to each other and even though I told him I'd be a better person without him I was lying I already missed him. But he's with Sharika I thought he would understand.
I took the tray from Ro' and sat back on the bed and eat. Everyone left except for Ashley.
"So I heard about the engagement.."
"Yea.. About that. I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you myself"

"Yeah yeah.. Mhm wadever.."
