I woke up from the smell coming from the kitchen seems like somebody was cooking. I threw the covers from over me getting up while rubbing my eyes, I put my feet inside my bedside slipper before getting up. I then fold up the covers and carried them to my room. I then went back to the living room going to the kitchen a stood at the doorjam and realize it was mom cooking. I made my way over to her and kiss the side of her face.

"Aye, good morning..."

"Morning sweetheart"

"What you cooking?"

"Oh I'm steaming some rice and some barbefry chicken breast"

"Wow. For breakfast?"

"Yes Sade, too much bacon and those mini stuff ain't good"

I laughed and shook my head while leaving the kitchen to go check on Zari. I went into my room and dad was in there feeding her.

"Good morning"

"Morning dad"

"What are you planning on doing today?"

"Uh.. I was thinking about going to the grocery store to get some groceries"

"Okay then"

"Tell me when you're done with her so I can get her a bath. In the meantime I'm going to get one myself."

"Okay"

Before leaving the room I picked out something to wear then went to the bathroom. I turn on the water while brushing my teeth when I was done with that I took my clothes off and went into the shower. I poured some of my dove body wash onto my rag and started doing my hygiene.

School was closed for a while until further notice. The water was out and they couldn't keep us there until they get it sorted out. I had just finish washing up the breakfast dishes. I then went to my room to get some clothes them went to the bathroom to take a shower. There was a funday treat at the park today for the kids and concert later on in the night. I was thinking about going with Sade since she said she would be carrying Zari. After my shower I dried my body then lotioned it with my first scent lotion before getting dressing in my heather grey top rank jogger and the sweatshirt to match it, with a pair of white sneakers. I swear I loved my outfit thanks to Sade who knows about style and looking good. I lightly put on some foundation and then the powder. I didn't wants anything too heavy. I applied some brown lipstick onto my lick ensuring it was put on properly before putting  some mascara on my eye lashes. When I was through I went out the bathroom since my aunt was waiting and went to find Sade. She was sitting in the sofa combing Zari curly hair while mom And dad watched TV.
