-please tell me if there are any grammar errors-I pull into a parking space close the the entrance. I see a familiar face.
The guy I met at the concert, Ethan.
He must be new.
I get out my car and grab my bag.
I walk past him nonchalantly. I give him a small wave, he sees me. He turns back to his friends as if he didn't know me. I roll my eyes. Stupid boys. But he made friends really quick. I say to my self. I walk to my locker and put my books in. I'm actually good in school. Everyone says I'll do better once I improve my attitude. Charlotte is someone who doesn't care how smart you are, if you talk bullshit she will call you out.
In every school, you get the basic groups.
The Athletic, the Social, the Smart. And then you you go to the more advanced groups.
Band members, The Anti Social and then you get my group. The people with depth. People fit into more then one category. We have friends in the advanced groups. Ethan, fit in the jocks. From what just happened, the guy I meet at the concert was a lie. Replaced by a shallow meat-head. "We didn't see you guys at the concert! Where were you?" That's one of my best friends, he recently came out. He used to be part of the Athletic group, then they started bullying him. Our small group has variety, as long as your not an asshole we're cool. I am called a punk by my close friends, Char is a retro chick and Griffin is colorful and bright, the trio would look weird to anyone but ourselves.
"Sorry Griffin, I managed to get golden circle tickets at the last minute!" He fanned his face dramaticly. "Please tell me you got pics!" I take out my phone and let him scroll through the pictures of last night. His eyes widen. "Now, who is this cutie in this picture with you?" He asks, purely amused. I grab back my phone, I forgot Ethan and I took a picture together! Oh shit. "Griffin, if you tell anyone, I swear I will murder you!" Charlotte and Griffen both burst out laughing. "No need to tell us darling! We know!"
"Know what?"
"That you liked him! And that's you'll kill us." Charlotte interjects.
"Guys, I didn't even know he went to our school! Nevermind having a crush on him!" It's the first time I sounded like a girl in years.
"Don't you remember your ninth grade crush?" Charlotte asks.
"Yes! But he left!"
"Yes, but it appears he's back!"
"What?"
"Can't you tell? He came back? He has more muscle, and damn, that is one fine ass"
"Griffen!" Charlotte wipes her tears of laughter away.
"Seriously! Check!" He opens the school website and gets a series of pictures. "Oh my god!" I exclaim. It was Ethan! I never knew his name back then, I was shallow and rude, until I met my friends at least, I just thought he looked hot, never actually spoke to him. I used to be popular, until a certain incident came along, I still loathe them till this day, I don't even bother beings nice, and to think, best friends with those bitches, but in tenth grade Amber came along, she was nice, just got in with the wrong crowd, then turned a bitch. I never talked to them again.
"I told you!" Griffin said with a smirk plastered on his face.
"Oh my god" I repeat.
The bell rings.
I'm going to be late!
