"C'mon girl, you can do this." Natasha put a comforting hand on my shoulder. "It'll be fine, the rehearsal dinner went without a hitch, and so will the ceremony."

"I'm just so nervous Nat! What if I trip over my heels or do something completely stupid?" I wrung my hands, beginning to pace back and forth across the small room.

"Relax, look honey, if you fall Steve will just catch you." She teased, gathering various beauty products to add the finishing touches to my face. She shot me a look and gestured for me to come sit down, I quickly obeyed.

"He's not that fast- okay maybe he is." If he could run faster than a car, he could probably be there in an instant if I fell.

"See? Nothing to worry about." Nat was uncharacteristically cheery, working quickly with the cosmetics.

"I haven't been this nervous since the first time Steve and I had sex," I muttered under my breath, taking a moment to close my eyes and suck in a deep breath.

"I heard that," Natasha chuckled, "Try blowing a guy with a metal arm, it'll make Cap seem easy."

"TMI Nat, I do not want to picture that."

"Suit yourself," she teased, and her work on my face stopped. "Take a look in the mirror." She prompted, her voice a little smug.

I opened my eyes, and they quickly widened in surprise. "Holy shit! How'd you do that?" I demanded. The girl in the mirror in front of me looked like a more confident, beautiful, happy version of myself that I almost didn't recognize. Natasha had just barely touched my face with the cosmetics, but somehow she'd made me simply stunning.

"You pick up a few tricks," She packed her things with a knowing smile.

Things just got blurry from there, I was mostly lost in a daze; thoughts of Steve, and marriage, and the future, and forever swirled through my mind. The walk down the aisle felt far away and blurry, and only when his turquoise eyes met mine did I snap back to reality. I walked down the aisle with far more purpose after that, his eyes and smile giving me the strength I needed to do this. When Uncle Nick handed me over, chills shot up my arm as Steve's hand met mine.

I gazed up into his eyes, more in love with him than I could ever remember being. His answering smile thoroughly dazzled me, and I couldn't help but be lost in his eyes. I spoke my lines in a daze, the moments continuing to blur. The only thing that I was sure of was that Steve was right there with me.

Slowly the world came back into focus and by the I do's my eyes were starting to water. My eyes left Steve's for the brief moment it took to slip on each other's rings, and they met again as soon as they had flickered away.

The only words I consciously heard from the pastor were, "You may kiss the bride," which Steve promptly did.

The moment that his lips met mine I was suddenly brought out of the delusional blurry daze that I was in. I reached up with one hand to pull him closer by his tie, which earned laughter and cat calls from the crowd. We broke away after a short time, our eyes meeting again.

"I love you," he said tenderly, one of his hands held the side of my face, and we were only inches apart.

"I love you too," I smiled, feeling an exuberant laugh burst out of me. We were finally sealed together. He let out a small laugh too, and we just exalted in the moment.

Things got hazy again, and the reception didn't register much in my mind. I was just lost in my husband's eyes, I honestly couldn't do anything but marvel at how incredibly lucky I was to have gotten him in the end. Eventually the time came to open up the dance floor, and Steve eyes flickered to the dancing platform.
