"Luke? Why are you here?" kumunot ang noo niya. Palipat lipat ang tingin niya sa akin at kay Luke. No, oh my gosh. Anong iniisip niya?

"Hi?" alanganing ngumiti at kumaway si Luke.

"Uh, Daf--" she cut me off.

"Magkasama kayo? San kayo galing?" her brows furrowed.

"Sa Media room." sagot ni Luke, "Sinayawan ko lang si Bree."

"What?" siniko ko si Luke, anong pinagsasasabi nito? Yes that was true, but the construction of his words, ang pangit pakinggan!

"Ah, pinakita niya sakin 'yung sayaw nila for the upcoming foundation day." sabi ko. Daf nodded, seems convinced with what I've said.

Hindi ko alam kung bakit ako kinakabahan sa tuwing magsasalita siya, parang anytime may masasabi siyang mali. I'm not lying to Daf naman... I'm just protecting her feelings. She'll get mad at me kapag nalaman niyang gusto ako ni Luke. So I'm not spilling it to her nalang, and she doesn't need to know it naman, right?

Luke is really giving me a hard time. Damn it. We can be friends but we can't be lovers. Some people are destined to meet, but not to be together. And Daf's feelings towards Luke has nothing to do with my decision. I know what I want, and I want Kade.

"Go to your class na, Luke. Baka mamaya may teacher na kayo." I shooed him away, fortunately umalis naman siya. He even wave at Daphne.

Niyakap ko si Daf and told her how I missed her. Niyakap niya din ako pabalik and that kinda surprised me. I thought she'll sue me dahil kanina. You know...

"C'mon, let's go out! You're missing for how many days! Where have you been?" kinuha ko ang bag ko at kinuha niya din ang kanya para makaalis na kami. So boring kaya here! Buti talaga pumasok si Daf, kung hindi uuwi nanaman ako ng maaga tapos tutunganga sa bahay or manonood kay mommy magluto ng kung anong trip niya.

"I was at Cebu, baby." she said, smiling like an idiot.

"Cebu again? It's not yet vacation time, little bitch. We have so many requirements to do, graduation is near! That's "

"Ugh Bree, stop nagging! You sound like an old lady." she laughs. "Your car or mine?"

"Yours." I said and get inside her car, "So, tell me how you spent your days in Cebu."

She sighed, "Remember Jin? My ex, freshie days?"

Kumunot ang noo ko nang banggitin niya ang pangalang Jin. "Of course, I won't forget that dickhead jerk. What about him?"

She looks at me, fidgeting. "Kasi... ano..."

"What?" I eyed her with suspicion.

"I gave in to him..." she said, almost a whisper. She... gave in? She gave herself to that asshole?!

My eyes widened at the thought... "What the fuck, Daf? Are you serious?"

She laughed but still tensed. "Calm down, it's not what you think... What I mean is, kami na ulit. I gave in, he's too persuasive. He said he's still inlove with me. I'm not sure if I still love him though."

Naguguluhan ako sa kanya. What made her decide to get back together with Jin? Well, that Jin was her boyfriend when we were in first year high school. I can say that Daphne loved him so dearly and deeply, of course, she's just a begginner when it comes to relationships. She can't control her feelings then, so she poured all her love to Jin, nothing less. Nakita ko din naman na mahal din ni Jin si Daf. But that guy was such an asshole, he cheated with his classmate, he was not our classmate by the way. That was Daphne's first heartbreak, that made her afraid of commitments, and made her think that loving someone deeply isn't a good thing.
