Chapter 23

One year later...

Courtney's POV

' Sam! Can you pass me the baby wipes! ' I shouted

' Yea sure! Hang on a sec ' she said.

Moments later she passed me the wipes. I looked at Adam who was squealing.

' Cheeky poo boy ' I said as he giggled

' Shame your father isn't here ' I said. Its been one year now and he never showed up. He's probably moved on and so have I.

' Now come on, let's go eat lunch ' I said and picked Adam up.

He squealed and hid in my arms.

' Your way too cute! ' I said and stroked his cheek with my index finger

I walked downstairs and placed Adam on the high chair. I attached the food board to it and placed a bib on him.

I grabbed some baby pudding and sat next to Adam.

' Mama's going to feed you now ' I said and picked a spoon

After 20 minutes

' Here's Adam, please keep him safe for me ' I told Sam as I gave her Adam

She nodded and played with Adam as he squealed and giggled

' Cuties ' I mumbled and grabbed my bag and headed to my car.

I was going to see the Leeds match today. I mean, just cause I'm a mother doesn't mean I'm still not a Leads supporter.

I grabbed my ticket and headed for the seat. I sat down.

' OMG!!! COURTNEY!!! ' I heard a couple of girls shout

I looked to my right to see a group of girls squealing so loud. I smiled

' Heya! ' I said and waved

' Omg!!!!! Can we get an autograph!!! Please!! ' One of the girls said

' Sure ' I giggled as they all ran to me.

After all the signing and all the pictures, they left and the match was about to start.

I felt a tap on my shoulder.

I looked to my left to see Simon.

Simon. Fucking. Minter

I stood up as he did too

' Look Courtney- '

' NO! Just please.... Leave me alone! ' I said and ran out of the stadium.

He obviously ran after me and we were both outside the stadium.

' Just listen Goddamit! ' he said

I sighed and nodded. Probably there was a little love for Simon still left in my heart

And he told me everything. The Jax situation and everything. I didn't want to believe him but when he showed me those texts, I was furious with Jax

' Please Courtney, I'm so sorr- ' he said but I grabbed his arm close to me and pulled him into a kiss.

The kiss, it lasted forever. The sparks were fuming again in my heart. The lips I have missed for a year, is finally back again.

We pulled away and rested each others foreheads against each other.

' I'm sorry I did that ' I said

' I wanted you to do that ' he said and chuckled

' So you want to see your son or what? ' I said and smiled

' We have a boy??!! DAMN YES! HE WILL BE THE BEST FOOTBALLER IN THE WORLD! ' Simon said and ran around.

I giggled

' What's my boy's name? ' he asked

' Adam ' I said and blushed

' Adam.. ' he said and held my hands

' WELL WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR! COME ON! ' Simon said and ran which caused me to run because we were holding hands

I giggled as I saw the expression on Simon's face.

I drove back to Sam's house.

' This is Sam's house? ' he asked

' Yeah, she's amazing to let me stay ' I said

' Let's go!! ' Simon said and ran out of the car.

I giggled and ran out with him.

We reached the door step and I knocked on the door.

Sam opened the door slowly and she looked shocked as she saw Simon

' Long story, I'll explain later ' I said

She nodded and put her finger to her lips.

' Shhh, Adams sleeping ' she whispered

We both nodded and walked in.

' Simon, you can go see him, he's upstairs, first door to the right ' I said

He nodded and took a deep breath then headed upstairs.

Adam looks so much like Simon. He has the blue eyes, the dimples and has his same nose.

I wonder what Adam will do....
