Chapter 54

Adam's POV

I was just walking in the park and saw a bench so I just sat on it.

I took my headphones off and placed them in my bag.

Then, someone sat next to me. I turned to see Brooklyn biting her lips and looking at the floor.

I sighed and then looked the other way.

' Adam? ' she said

' Hmm? ' is all I could say right now

' I'm sorry for breaking up with you. I finally realized that I need you in my life ' she said

I sighed

' Fine then ' I said and looked at her

She smiled which caused me to smile a little

' I missed those dimples ' she said and sat more close to me

I chuckled slightly

She then leaned in and kissed me. I didn't have her full trust so I kinda pulled away

She smiled and got up

' I'm going now, bye ' she said

' See ya ' I said

She then skipped off and I chuckled at how she was skipping.

But something changed in this girl. I could just feel it.

I shrugged it off and then saw a fountain near me.

I ran to there and washed my lips. I hated kissing girls. I'm just fine with holding hands and kissing cheeks.

Arriving home

I walked to the living room to see everybody playing with Jasmine.

I sighed and then walked up. I just wanted to be the only kid.

I sat down and fell asleep. I couldn't be bothered to do a boring essay. I already got like hundreds of detentions. I'm also part of the badman's group. They're just the most popular group.

The next morning

I woke up and got dressed. I wore a black jumper with swag written on it. I wore white converses, a white beanie, black skinny jeans and I just took my headphones and my phone.

I walked to school and then walked to my class.

' Adam. Late. Again! ' Mrs Collins said

' And? ' I said

' Just sit down! ' she said and pointed at a spare chair.

I walked and slumped down on my seat.

' Um hi ' a girl said

I looked to see a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes. She had dimples just like me and dad.

' Yo ' I said and just popped a gum in my mouth

The teacher went outside to talk to a student and then Brooklyn sneakily came in. Everybody was just chatting away

' Adam! ' she said and hugged me

' Hey Brook ' I said and smiled

She quickly pecked my lips and then sat down in her seat.

I looked to see the girl next to me and she looked a bit jealous

' What's your name? ' I asked

' Brittany, what's yours? ' she asked

' Adam ' I said

She nodded

' Was that your girlfriend? ' she asked

I nodded

' Oh ' she said and then looked away

I was confused. Why was she so jealous?
