Chapter 32

Courtney's POV

A few days later

' Adam! Come on! We're going to miss the freaking match! ' I said and grabbed his arm

' Wait mum! Gosh! ' he said and then grabbed his Leeds scarf

I ran to the car and Adam walked

' So much for a Leeds fan ' I said to Adam

' Just because I'm walking doesn't mean I'm not a fan! ' he said

He jumped in the back and I drove quickly to the Leeds match.

Today, Leeds were playing against Charlton

Halfway through the match

' YESSS! ' Me and Adam shouted as Leeds scored a goal.

' Damn, how many minutes are left? ' I asked

' 20 ' Adam said

I nodded.

There was still a chance Leeds could win, but Charlton scored 2 goals already.

After 20 minutes

Adam and me groaned.

Leeds lost.

' Wanna go to Starbucks? ' I asked Adam as we walked out of the stadium

' Yea ' he said and grabbed his phone.

He took a selfie with the stadium behind him.

I giggled at him

' What? ' he said and put his phone away

' Cute Pose ' I said and rubbed his hair

' You seriously have an obsession with my hair ' he said

' Shadup ' I said

We both walked to Starbucks and we sat down.

I quickly took another selfie:

I ordered the drinks and food and then walked back to Adam.

' Here you go ' I said and placed his food on the table

I then went to grab my other drink but I bumped into another person

' Oops! Sorry ' I said and looked at the person

' Courtney? ' The familiar voice said

' Oh. My. Fucking. God ' I said and took a step back

' Courtney! Oh my god! Finally! ' Simon said

' Get away from me ' I said and took another step back

' Please listen ' he said and took a Step forward

' Mum, you forgot my drink! ' I heard Adam say

He walked forward and then looked at Simon

' Whose this? ' he asked

Simon's mouth dropped as he saw Adam.

' Honey, please go eat, I'll get you your drink ' I said

' Adam? ' Simon said

' Who are you? ' he asked

' My names Simon. I-im your dad ' Simon said and then knelt down to Adams height

Adam gasped and then looked at me

' I-is this t-true? ' he said

I wiped away my tear and slowly nodded

' I can't believe the bullshit you said to me ' Adam said and then ran out.

Simon ran after him and I ran too.

I saw Simon talking to Adam.

' Adam? I'm sorry ' I said.

They both looked back at me.

Adam rolled his eyes and then looked away.

Simon looked at me for a moment and then looked at Adam and continued talking to him

' Adam? Let's go home ' I said

' Don't talk to me ' he said

' Simon? ' I said

He sighed and then walked to me

' What? ' he said

' What's going on? ' I asked

' I can't believe you ' he said

' What? ' I asked

' The bullshit you've been saying. That I'm dead. You know, I'd rather have Adam know that I kissed Sam than knowing that I'm dead. Who lies to their kid like that? ' he said

' I-i... ' I was speeches

' Exactly, I can't believe your this low ' he said

' Sim- ' I said but I was cut off

' Where's your house? ' he asked

' Why? ' I said

' I will drove Adam home ' he said

' Bu- ' I said buy was cut off once again

' No buts, I'm taking Adam home and that's final ' he said

I told him the address and he nodded

' Now just go home ' he said

I sniffed and then ran to my car.

I drove home and then dug my head into my pillow.

I was so stupid. I should have just told Adam the truth.

He probably would never forgive me ever again.
