Chapter 24

Simon's POV

I took a deep breath and quietly opened the door. There was a cot further in the room and I saw a pair of feet wiggling around.

I smiled and walked to the cot. Adam was playing with his feet. He had amazing blue eyes, just like mine.

He looked up at me and squealed.

' Hey Buddy! ' I said and held my hands out

Adam looked at me for a bit and then reached his hands out. I chuckled and picked him up.

' You know I'm your dada right? ' I said

Adam yawned and then placed his head on my shoulder.

I chuckled.

' Already enjoying his fathers company eh? ' I heard Courtney say.

I turned and saw her smiling and leaning against the door frame

' Are you sure we had this baby? This one is too  cute ' I said and Courtney giggled.

' Yep, defiantly sure ' she said and smiled

' You know that I'm really sorry right? ' I said

' Stop saying that, this is Jax's fault. Not yours ' Courtney said and sighed

' Is he still sleeping? ' Courtney said

' Yeah, shall i put him back in his cot? ' I asked even though I wanted him to sleep on my shoulder.

' Nah, let him enjoy his Father's company ' she said and smiled

' Who's the father then? ' I said sarcastically

' Shut up! I'll call you when dinner's ready. After that, we can start your set up and then got to bed ' Courtney said

' Sure, okay ' I said.

' Okay, have fun ' she smiled and walked downstairs.

Then, I hear a little squeal.

I looked and see Adam smiling at me

' Quite a little trickster aren't you? We thought you were sleeping ' I said

He squealed

' Let's play with some toys then ' I said and I walked to the big box of toys.

I placed him down and he started grabbing a lot of toys.

I chuckled and wondered around the room. I looked down at my phone and saw that Jax has deleted his contact with me

' Fucking bitch ' I mumbled.

I saw Adam and he looked at me clueless.

' Don't worry Adam ' I smiled and he just continued with his playing.

I saw a ball at the corner of the room and I grabbed it. I then started to do kickups while Adam was squealing.
