Just a Friendly Hug?

Benio, overwhelmed by shyness, didn't know how to respond. She went stiff. Of course, Rokuro noticed.

Whithought letting her go, he asked her what was wrong.

Was the nightmare that bad?

"I-it was nothing really.. I just panicked a little, th-that's all.."

Rokuro sighed and looked straight at her green eyes.

"You can trust me Benio. I'm here for you. If anything is wrong, don't hesitate to tell me. I wouldn't want to see you sad anymore."

"Thanks Rokuro I feel better now."

Benio, thinking it was the right moment, hugged him back.

Rokuro had totally forgotten about him hugging her. It came as a big surprise that he hugged her back later on.

Well, I did say I was here for her. As long as she's good, I'm good as well.

Soft footsteps could be heard going up to Benio's room. Then fast paced footsteps heading to Rokuro's room. The door was opened quickly, withought a knock being heard.

"ROKURO, BENIO IS MISSING! DO YOU KNOW WHERE SHE'S AT?! I CAN'T F-..."

A shocked, beet red Mayura was standing in the doorway of Rokuro's room. Mayura's sight was not fooling her. Rokuro and Benio were hugging. Hugging in Rokuro's bed. Rokuro wasn't wearing a shirt. So of course, Mayura's first thought will be that they spend the night together. (Ha! I wish.. One day though.)

Benio was the first to notice Mayura. She immediatley let go of Rokuro, covering her face.

"Hmm? Benio?"

Rokuro then saw a pissed off Mayura looking at him intensely with fire in her eyes.

"Ah, Mayura. What you just saw was a frienly hug. Please don't misunderstand. I'll explain to you everything so please let go of that bat. Oh thanks! I've been looking for it, where was it?"

A hard blow to the head was given to Rokuro by Mayura.

"YOU PERV HOW DARE YOU HURT BENIO! I DON'T CARE IF BOTH OF YOU GUYS ARE THE TWIN STAR EXORCISTS, THAT TYPE OF THINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THIS HOUSE!"

"Mayura-san, Rokuro was just making me feel better after I had a nightmare. You should have listened to him or at least asked me about it. After all, I was hugging him too."

"Ah! S-so sorry! Um Rokuro, I'm so sorry!"

"For real Mayura! Agh, the good thing is I'm used to getting hit. Benio hits harder after all."

"What do you mean by that? Hey Rokuro, answer me!"

Just a friendly hug? To me, it was more than that. Rokuro...
