Chapter 8 Not Alone

The video is a funny commercial I saw. Plus, who else is really excited for that movie? IT LOOKS SO AWESOME! I WANT TO SEE IT NOW, BUT IT'S NOT OUT YET! I just thought it was funny how the family in the car is oblivious to everything happening around them. XD

As for the GIF. I thought that part of the show was absolutely hilarious. :D 

Fun fact. My four most favorite superheroes: The Flash (obviously), Captain America, The Winter Soldier, and Green Arrow.

   I slipped on a wet spot on the sidewalk and crashed into the police station sign next to Barry. Barry jumped back as I collapsed on the steps.

   "Sparky! Are you alright?" Barry asked, helping me up.

   "Yeah," I panted. "Yeah, I'm good."

   Barry looked up at the darkened windows. "It doesn't look like anyone's around. Where do you think he is?"

   "He's right here," I recognized Joe's voice instantly. "I need to tell you something."

   Barry and I both turned to face him. Barry tilted his head. "What?"

   "After you two left we got a distress call-" Joe started.

   "Why didn't you tell us right away?" I asked, feeling a little irritated.

   Joe frowned at me. "Calm down. I just wanted you two to have fun at the quiz and not be worried about the world."

   "Fair enough," I said. "Carry on."

   Joe looked slightly amused at my quick change of attitude. "We found two very strange cases. One of them was a storm inside a bank, the other was a building with patches of ice everywhere. It seems you weren't the only ones struck by lightning."

   I tapped my earpiece. "Hey Gizmo? You at the lab?"

   "Yep. I'm here, Caitlin and Dr. Wells are too," Cisco said. "What do you need Sparky?"

   "Is it possible that other people could have been affected as well?"

   There was silence on the other side. Joe tilted his head at me as I walked a short distance away, gesturing for them to continue talking without me.

   "Highly unlikely," I heard Dr. Wells say. "But possible. Why do you ask?"

   "Because Joe just told me there was a bank robbery and the witnesses said there was an indoor storm."

   "That is so cool!" Cisco whooped.

   "Not really. Either me or Barry needs to go after him. There was also patches of ice inside a building."

   I didn't need to be in the same room to know that Cisco's enthusiasm levels dropped. "Oh..."

   "Vibe?" Barry asked, coming to stand next to me. "You good?"

   "I'm Vibe too? Sheesh, how many names am I going to have?"

   "Just answer the question please," I said. "If you need us to come, just say the word."

   Cisco coughed. "Y-yeah. That would be good."

   I frowned. "Gizmo?"

   Cisco didn't respond. I shot a worried look at Barry before we both took off at full speed. I shot through the doors and did an extra lap around the room, just to make paper fly around, before sitting down in my chair with enough force to send it across the room.
