Chapter 10

Daniel's P.O.V

It's been a couple of weeks since the incident at the party. I haven't talked to Josh at all since then and I don't plan too. Today was Friday and both me and Janet had the day off work. This hardly ever happened on a Friday. We planned to go pick our checks up and head to the mall. Since we can't receive our checks until around 1pm we some time to spare.

I still laid in bed even after Janet already had gotten up but after awhile I pulled my lazy body out of bed. I walked to the kitchen still in just my boxers, I knew Janet wold be cooking. As soon as she saw me, we locked eyes and it reminded me of when I walked into class on the first day of my new school. She looked at me the same way.  

"Your right on time I just finished making breakfast." she said as she put french toast on the plate and poured us both cups of orange juice.  I sat down at the breakfast bar a began eating. We ate in silence. We weren't mad at each other I guess we were both just still tired.

"Thanks babe, this is bomb." I said and she laughed. When I finished I put my plate in the sink and a few seconds later she did the same. She went to the bedroom andI went to living room to watch TV for the remainder of the time I had before having to get dressed. I was flipping through the channels and stopped when I saw that Fast 7 was on. I have seen it a million times but it was a good movie. I could probably watch it a million more times. A few minutes later Janet comes out from the back of the apartments dressed in comfy clothes.

"Where do you think you going?" I asked.

"Im going for a run. Don't worry I'll be back in time to go to the mall." she said and walked straight out the door.

Janet's P.O.V

I headed out the door and started my run. I jogged down to a park that wasn't that far and then ran around the path there a couple of times with my water bottle in hand. After about 30 mins I took a break and drank some water while sitting on a bench. An older lady with a small dog came and sat next to me. The dog started sniffing me and jumping on my leg.

'Im so sorry' the older lady said. I told her it was no problem. She tried pulling the dog away but the dog wasn't budging so I started to pet him and he started licking my hands.

'What's his name?' i asked the lady.

'Toby' she replied with a smile. 

'Cute name' i said.

'Oh yes! My daughter's dog had 7 babies so I took one of them, I thought Toby would be the perfect name.' I nodded. 

'She doesn't want them all , too much to handle so she's been giving them away.' she continued. I nodded again.

' I can get you one if you'd like they have all of there shots. They seem to like you very much.' she said in response and smiled.

'I would love to, but I would have to talk to my boyfriend about it first.'

'Of course honey, here's my number give me a call about it.' i took the number, thanked her and started to walk home.                                                                                     

Daniel's P.O.V   

Great now I'm home alone, i thought to myself. About and hour later Fast 7 went off and I decided to start getting dressed. I hopped in the shower and washed my body along with my hair. It was getting pretty long. I would have to put money aside for a haircut. When I got out I dried my hair and went the my drawer to grab some boxers. I could hear Janet walk through the door.

'I'm home babe!' she yelled.

'Okay i'm back here!' i yelled back. I stood in front of the closet and grabbed some black skinny jeans and a white T-shirt. I pulled my jeans on and tugged my shirt on just as she walked into the room. I walked up to her and tried to kiss her but she pushed me away.

'No I'm sweaty Im gonna get in the shower kay?' she said.

'Fine' i said and she went into the bathroom. After I knew she was in the shower I went in the bathroom to brush my teeth, wash my face and lotion my face. I put on some deodorant and Axe spray. Since I had nothing to do while she finished getting dressed, I found myself in the living room watching TV again. As soon as I powered the Tv on an old movie was playing. The man was proposing to his wife.

It reminded me of how I planned to propose to Janet but I just haven't found the right way to do it yet.      I mean we have been dating for almost a year now. and I think she's getting a little frustrated. After a while she finally came out. She looked bomb AF!

'Ready to go?' she asked. I nodded and walked to the car and opened and closed the door for her.

Janet's P.O.V

I was excited to spend a day with Daniel. Seems like we haven't done it in a long time. As he driving I had remembered about the lady with the dogs.

'Daniel, what do you think about getting a dog?'

' That never crossed my mind but I would love one i you want.' he replied. I told him about the lady I met at the park and he said we should give her a call tomorrow. When we pulled up to our job he said he would go in and receive our checks. I waited patiently in the car and listened to the music on my phone from the aux cord. Outer space by 5sos came on and I got in my feels.

I sang quietly 'Nothing like the rain, nothing like the rain, when your in outer, when your outer space.'

 Good thing Daniel came back when it went off or else he would have thought I crazy. He got back in and handed me both checks so he could drive.

'Did you miss?' he asked jokingly 

'Yes i was crying so much while you were gone.' i joked back.

Next stop was the bank. We both went in cashed our checks and now it was time for the fun part.As soon as we parked in the mall parking lot it was a relief. Something relaxing to do. All the bills and the rent was paid so I had a free check.

As we were walking in Daniel grabbed my hand.

'What store you wanna go in first?' he asked.

'Forever 21, duh.' i said and he smiled. We went our separate ways. He went to the mens section while I looked elsewhere. I got some maroon colored jeans and a cream colored cardigan. I also picked out a black and white flannel. I got it a size bigger because I like them loose. When I was done picking out what I want I went to find Daniel. When I found him he was holding a white t-shirt and a black base flower button up shirt.

'Daniel, I know your not buying another white shirt, you have a ton of them.' 

'No I don't pshh.'

'Babe your wearing one now.' he looked down at his shirt.

'Oh yeah.' he said realizing and put it back. 

'You ready to go?'I asked still laughing at the previous situation.

'Yeah sure this store isn't manly enough for me anyway.' i continues to laughed.

We went and paid for our items and then headed to the next store which was Hot topic. I just got a MCR charm bracelet and some black skinny jeans. Daniel grabbed a Nirvana band tee. Next we headed to the van store where we both bought some black vans and Daniel got some white ones also. The last store we went to before eating was Sheik shoe store. I bought some Classic Adidas and Daniel bought Black Timberlands. Then we went to Mongolian Grill to eat. My favorite place ever. After that we went to a few more stores and nearly spent all of our money but it was worth it plus we had nothing else to do with it. It was getting late so we decided to go home

HEY GUYS! IM WROTE THIS ON MY IMAC AND IT WAS O MUCH EASIER. IT BASICALLY EDITED MOST THING FOR ME. Okay I'm gonna stop yelling now but anyways how did you like it? Sorry if this chapter was kinda boring but I'm just trying to keep the story moving along stuff is going to get pretty good so don't stop reading.
